Ordered on the app at 4pm. Figured they may be a bit busy, pick up time on app said 4:20 so I arrived at 4:30. After getting to the counter, they told me it should be up “shortly”. I took my ticket and sat down to wait. One guy was just shuffling around moving folded boxes between storage shelves while they were buried in customers with 1 person making pizzas with headphones on and one person at the counter. There were about 6-8 people waiting before I came in, unsure because people kept going in and out to their cars because the AC was not working and it was hotter inside than it was outside. At one point multiple people were asking how much longer and they told them that 3 separate orders had fallen off the oven so they were having to remake them, and they didn’t bother to tell anyone directly whose orders they were, they just started naming toppings of the ones that had fallen. Chicken, a beef, and a banana pepper. The banana pepper was 1 of my 2, so I continued to wait and didn’t bother them since there was a lot going on and had indirectly heard her tell another customer about mine (I assumed I’m the only person with a just banana pepper pizza). During this time they did a shift change, new crew came in and old crew headed out.
The lady I assume was the night manager was walking back and forth from the register to the cut table trying to figure out ticket numbers. She went to the register and told the woman there to not help anyone else until she closed out all the tickets that were old. “This is from 2pm, they obviously aren’t going to come so close all those out. 3pm. You get what I’m saying.” Then asked for everyone that already had a ticket to please come to the counter and show it to her. About 5 of us walked forward, she looked at one ticket from one person and then walked away. The rest of us stayed hovering around the counter but she didn’t speak to a single other person who was holding a ticket.
A younger gentleman that had been waiting from before I got there was called up for his order. He had ordered something in a small box, but had to ask for his fries. Then had to ask for his drink. Then had to again ask for his Parmesan shaker. As he turned to leave finally having all his items (it was now 5:25pm, I arrived at 4:30 and he was there before me), the woman at the register very rudely and accusingly yelled at him “excuse me, are you going to pay for that???” He came back confused, and she repeated “you gonna pay for those 2 Sunkist???” He put his stuff on the counter and said “I only have 1?” And she said “you need to pay for that and the shaker.” The manager was standing only 2 feet away and waited until the guy said “it was on the ticket” before the manager said “yeah it is. He paid.” And he was allowed to leave. I finally approached and showed her my ticket since I was now 1 of 4 people left waiting and 2 had JUST walked in, and she looked at it confused for a moment and then walked back to look at the tickets at the cut table. I said I had ordered at 4pm (it was now 5:30). I told her they had said one of my pizzas fell off the oven so I guess I had been waiting for a remake and I was unsure if it ever got remade. She pulled both pizzas from the hotbox and handed it to me just saying here ya go.
I worked in food service for 16 years. 12 years of it in pizza. 3 years of it at Pizza Hut. I understand being slammed and things happening. But this location, everyone seemed to have no clue what they were looking at or doing and the people who did just kind of had a “generic sorry, but deal with it” attitude. Which I even understand when you are just exhausted and hot during a rush from hell. But stopping a customer and basically accusing them of trying to leave without paying for things they already paid for in a situation where you should have been trying to make things right with the customers that had been patiently waiting and understanding about everything is just beyond the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Last time giving them...
Read moreThis was a bittersweet experience for me. The Cinnabon minis… omg wow those tiny little baby itty bitty Cinnabon swirls… yaaassss…. but the rest?? —Never again will I order from there. I give two stars. It should be less but I’m practicing patience and forgiveness!!
Here’s my story… take note of the + or - beside each note… ++Saw a lady on the elevator with a huge pizza box from Pizza Hut and was like heyyyy what’s that. She told me Pizza Hut got this big box with your choice 2/3/4 Pizza, pasta, wings, bread sticks cheese stick (OMG heck yea there’s 2 adults and 2 kids (3y&6m) I thought and she said pickup OR delivery)!! wanted to order from DoorDash the big box and soda was almost $60 so I thought lemme see if it’s cheaper to order from the store) +Called the store and a man answered rather quickly! As soon as he answered he said something I couldn’t understand then proceed to ask me to hold on. he came back on the line, I asked if they did delivery (assuming he knew I was asking about a delivery driver being available to bring my food straight from the store) asked to hold on again. I remember working in fast food places so I thought he was training and figured I’d give the kid a break. (Lloyd, Lauren, Lawrence, I seriously couldn't understand him) when I had finally placed my order, given him the address, room number, card number the expiration date, CVV, zip and all that and hung the phone up, my phone read the call was almost 18 minutes!! I lost could of how many times he told me to hang on! -he said my order would be there in about thirty mins. seeing as how I’m literally right up the street (walking about 20mins car ride 3-7 depending on traffic and lights) I thought ok… maybe. -well, I got a text message from DOORDASH about my driver Benjamin, and the address of my delivery .i thought some guy or girl in a Pizza Hut shirt and hat would show up and let me sign my receipt and add a tip for the driver. (NOPE) -my address is soooo wrong I stay on chalmers rs and he had Thomas rd so I contacted the driver who said “thanks for contacting me about the address man that actually happens all the time at this store” so we communicated and he got the right address. -&+ I watch him on the track app and he’s going everywhere but to my spot on the map. Ohhhh wait… that’s not my actual spot!! so he shows up (in a really beautiful car btw) and gives me my order but there’s no where for me to sign and leave a tip no way for me to get on the dasher app and tip him because it was all texts and I got no cash for a tip… I mean ugh and the way he said it’s ok it happens all the time just broke my heart!! -THEN to top it all off… it’s not even worth all the trouble!! The pizzas taste was almost like old dough maybe…. Like if you hand make the dough, it was in the fridge for too long… or if it’s frozen dough, its like it the box was open for too long and it was stale…(does that make sense?) +++ these lil mini Cinnabon rolls tho…. Omg!! These things...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered my food at 6:23 pm. I received an automated text stating that they have received my order. @7:23 I received an automated text stating my food was on its way. By 9:00 pm I'm calling them with no response of the phone on their behalf. I would speak to their customer service reps (which are no help whatsoever not sure what they are needed for) that keep transferring me to the store. I called this store 5 times no response (they never answer the phone). Finally I drove to the store spoke to a supervisor/store manager by the name of Brandy as I wanted a refund and she tells me that the food was delivered. So I ask where and they say to a white house. Finally as the driver is coming around to say something he has a surprised and nervous look as I say my house is light blues he looks it up and says yes white blue and I gave it to someone (that he wasn't able to discribe since he wasn't able to remember because he had so many other delivers that every one was a blur). I NEVER received my food I payed for someone else to eat it. While I'm there trying to get a refund Brandy says I can give you a credit and remake your food if you like. As I hesitated (when I ask for a refund at this point I don't trust the restaurant anymore with my food) I agreed to the food and a credit. Which I didn't receive. I only received a credit for the food they gave me at the store not for the entire order that they gave to everyone else. When you credit someone you credit them and replace the mistake you made. Not make the customer pay for it and act as if you're doing them a favor 3 hours later. I will never order from this store again. The Brandy wasn't rude but she did...
