We visited this location on 11/29/2024 after placing a mobile order for $45 worth of food. The drive through was moving very slowly and the girl taking orders tried to tell the guy ahead of us that we could clearly hear ordering from our car that she couldn’t hear him and he would just have to order at the window. She finally heard what he wanted and she didn’t confirm any of his order or a total and just told him to pull around. We got to the speaker and she told us “gimme a minute”. We waited a few minutes and then were asked “what can I get you?” So we told them I had a mobile order, gave the name, was asked to pull around. When I got to the window they handed me a very small bag with 2 small containers in it, and I said “this is it? We had a $45 order.” They then took the bag back, turned around and spoke with someone behind them, and told us they made the wrong order so we would have to pull forward while they just started to make our order. It took about 30 min from getting in line to getting our food. Once we got home they also had shorted us a slice of toast.
Yesterday I did another mobile order for this location. When I got to the speaker I again was told “gimme a minute” and then proceeded to listen to a bunch of clicking and tapping through the speaker for about 5 minutes straight. I at one point said “I don’t know if you are trying to talk to me or not I just hear clicking” but a minute or so later they asked what I wanted. I told them I had a mobile order, they asked for my name, I gave it and they told me to pull around. Got to the window and a gentleman that I assume is the shift leader just said “it’s $14.99.” I told him I had a mobile order I had already paid for. He looked at me funny and said “what was the name?” I told him, and he immediately said “we don’t have an order for that so you gotta come inside.” I had the email confirmation ready to show and asked “this is the 1903 Lauren’s location? That’s where it says I ordered from.” He confirmed that was the address but said “yeah we have no mobile order so you gotta come inside.”
I pulled around and parked. Went inside. He had disappeared into the back and a young man at the counter asked how he could help me and seemed genuinely listening to me explaining the manager telling me to come in and seeming a little confused as to what to do, but at that point the manager came out the back and I pointed and said ah him, he told me to come inside. I tried to hand him the email to confirm my order and he ignored it and asked my name again. He immediately grabbed a stack of tickets off a tray by the register and my name was across the second one in the stack. He said “someone already picked it up.” I told him that the girl originally asked my name for the mobile order, told me to pull around, and that that was the first time I had spoken to him when I got to the window and he told me to come in because they didn’t have it. He said “no I got it right here, was 5 wings and some pickles.” I corrected him that it was 5 dipped fingers, pickles, and an extra sauce. He handed the ticket to the girl behind the window in the kitchen and said “here remake this”. It sounded like she asked him something about it then said “aren’t you going to get in trouble?” He replied to her “I usually wouldn’t do it but do it this time.”
He then came back to the counter and asked me what I had ordered again. I repeated the order. He put in the 5 dipped fingers and the pickles on a NEW order and put the order through free so that the kitchen would get the ticket / food cost would be accounted for I guess. When I received the order the receipt on the bag said “remake” as the name, confirming it was just a new order made for the kitchens sake.
No apologies, no admitting someone may have just given out the wrong order, just the first original accusation to me that someone else must have picked the order up before me, and then no further acknowledgment of any kind. The young man gave me the...
Read moreI don't know what has happened at this location in the last 3 weeks or so, but I started going here regularly when the Church Street Bridge construction made getting to the Church Street location difficult beginning in April. They were so fast and friendly and I really never had to wait.
I always order online, and I'm not sure whether I NEED to stop at the drive-through order kiosk, but I always do, just to alert them that I'm in line and heading to the window to get my order, which should already be waiting for me, since I've been sitting in the drive-through line for 10 minutes past the time it was supposed to be there.
But in the last three weeks, I've pulled up to the kiosk and been told, "Hold on a minute," which I suppose is code for, "Hold on, I'll be back in 5 minutes or so." So I sit and wait, thinking that at least I will be able to pull straight to the window and be handed my order quickly - but, alas, there are usually still 2 cars sitting at the window ahead of me, and when I do arrive at the window, I am still stuck sitting for another 5 minutes or so, waiting for someone to pick up my bag and hand it out the window to me. Today my order was refused online because it said some of the ingredients weren't available.
Who knows? Maybe many people are on vacation because it is summer? I don't know, but it is a big disappointment from this location, which was so fast, friendly, and polite when I first started...
Read moreSo I went last night 4/6 and at first I wanted a zinzasian zalad but I was informed that they’re out of stock, even though their marquee is still advertising it, so I ordered a Cobb instead. I sat down to eat it about 30 minutes later only to discover I didn’t have a Cobb zalad. It literally only had the chicken, cucumber, and wonton strips strangely enough. I called and spoke to a manager named Cat, she was very nice and apologetic and asked if I wanted a refund or replacement. I wanted a replacement and I went to go get it today 4/7. I spoke with a manager named Willie who was very argumentative and basically wanted to make like I was lying. I tried to explain to him what the problem was but as soon as I mentioned the strips he cut me off and said “no that didn’t happen cause that’s a zinzasian and we don’t even have the zinzasian right now.” I said I didn’t say that’s what I had I said it had the wonton strips on it. He rolled his eyes and reluctantly agreed to the replacement. I received the correct zalad but noticed it had very little bacon and crispy onions, I requested more and he said “that's what it comes with, 1 strip of bacon and a scoop of onions.” I offered to pay for extra and he basically rolled his eyes and walked to the back without another word. He came back a couple of minutes later handed me the extras and walked off...
