Old Greenwich Deli — Restaurant in Greenwich

Heard this place is back in Old Greenwich! And I'm very glad they are! Came by and the staff was super friendly and welcoming.

They had a plethora of classic sandwiches that were simple but looked delicious. I ordered the chicken cutlet sandwich with jalapeno and chipotle mayo + pepper jack. Outstanding.

Moreover, the service is great - they came by and brought the sandwich to the table - we paid only when we went up.

However, knocking a star over the food portion because the pricing is pretty steep for a sandwich - it was $13 for one which is quite a bit.

But will be back...

Extremely Disappointing Experience Stopped in with my kids for a quick lunch and was shocked by the quality and price. Paid $13 each for grilled chicken sandwiches that were completely inedible—tough, rubbery, and clearly not fresh. I returned the uneaten food to the employee, who showed no concern and simply threw it away before charging us $48. I can only imagine how long the chicken had been sitting out. I’ve ordered from here before through MenuMavin for the office, but after this experience, never again. There are far better...

Well this is my 3rd or 4th time eating there since they have been back in og... I had lunch at 1220. .. 2 meatballs and some rice and a small sausage and peppers... and a 20 ounce soda. 25 dollars.. I don't mind paying when the food is actually worth it but its not ..the meatballs do not taste good and the rice is even worse... the meatballs tasted like rubber. The sausage and peppers was ok. But not great.. I just won't be eating there again.. its not worth going back for...
