Super cold inside. If you like to dine in a cold environment you will enjoy it
Waitress with glasses was friendly, kind and attentive.
Ordered our meals without onions. Food came with onions. Took the plate back came back with onions still on it. I imagine one swipe with a knife to push the onions off was adequate to the cooks. Dish came back with a bunch of onions still on. i asked if they could remake it. They agreed. My dish came back as dry as can be. No spices nothing.
While my company was eating their 3 meat fatijaa they noticed they only got 2 meats. Waitress confirmed yes we did indeed order the 3 meats fajitas. They suggested to take the dish back. I said no worries just bring a dish with only the missing third meat. Sadfully the waitress said they could not. Cooks required proof of some sort. I said wow they dont trust you? Then she realized she could take a picture of the dish proving to the kitchen it was indeed missing. The shrimp came later being the saltest shrimp we ever had.

Read moreI was heartbroken when pie vs pie closed (thanks covid). This place had been in a state of construction for what felt like another pandemic. We finally were able to drop by. We stopped by for a few apps and a couple of drinks. I got the cocktail flight which was pretty decent. My wife got the Cerritos which was delicious and totally worth drinking yourself Pakled. The calamari was decent... The crispier the better. No tentacles only rings. Which I sort of feel is a bummer. The comped chips and salsa and refried beans were great. Margarita factory might have better chips but this place has better sides. Go figure. Empanadas were solid and made fresh. The Mojarra dish was superb. The crisp on that fish was [chefs kiss]. I would totally come back here and sit outside. Service was fantastic servers were courteous and attentive and wanted to know how all the dishes were. If you are rude to any of the employees here, you my friend, are a terrible human being.
Now if only they could serve the pies from pie vs pie...
Read moreWe looked at the menu in the window of this quaint little restaurant and our interest was peaked at the variety and intriguing mix of Mexican-Japanese Fusion offerings. Once inside we were delighted to see how clean and welcoming the atmosphere was. Our hostess gave us a choice of seating and we chose inside near one of several large flatscreen TVs, due to the cold weather. There is also a small outdoor plaza for courtyard dining. We were presented with fresh warm crunchy tortilla chips with a cup of one of the best salsas I've ever tasted, and a cup of warm yummy refried beans for dipping. I had already decided what I wanted before we even walked in, but I still had to ponder the clearly described menu items (complete with pictures). I chose a N/A Mangoneada for my beverage, and it was delightfully refreshing. I'm a light eater so I picked the Gobernador SHRIMP Taco and a SHRIMP Spring Roll...
