Decided to come in tonight (Sat 3/15/25) and Try Wall Street Pizza. We arrived at 6:30, ordered a Wall Street Combo pizza and two drinks. Specifically asked the young girl working the counter if we could have our pizza made with only half of it having sausage on one side as i cannot eat it. She said yes we will take it off one side. Great. We picked our seat and began to wait for our food. 40 minutes passed by and we noticed the people that came in after us got their pizza while we had not.
My husband asked for the bus person to please check and they lost our ticket and hadn't even made it. They said 10-12 minutes longer and that our order was priority. Pizza came out finally at the hour mark of us sitting and waiting. Pizza its self looked delicious but they did not take off the sausage as requested. But at this point there was no sense in complaining more and potentially having to wait longer for a new pizza. I just dealt with it and picked off what I could see from a slice so I could eat something.
I will say when I customer is requesting a certain item be removed that could very well be because of an allergy and not removing it can lead to problems. So I'd suggest the owner have a talk with staff about the importance of excluding something the customer can't eat. Thankfully I am not allergic just a preference for not eating it. But what would have happened if I was allergic.
So in dining service doesn't seem to be their priority, to go and delivery orders were flying out the door with zero problems it seems that is the way to go? or we just came on a bad night? I am not sure. The pizza was delicious, so I am willing to give it another shot, maybe we will try picking it up to go next time and see how that goes.
They do have a small arcade area with games, a bar and a room to hold gatherings in. It did seem to be a cute and charming place when we...
Read moreSadly we have place our last order from here. We placed an order for delivery and there was great resistance from the other end of the phone. She warned the delivery time was an hour and fifteen minutes which we were totally fine with but it seems as if she still did not want us to order. I specifically asked for items to be left off the salad and let her know that the last 2 orders, I let their mistakes slide and did not call. She repeated the order which when read back to me was correct. When the order finally arrived almost before closing, we still were not worried about length of time but the reality is, she said there were 2 orders ahead of us and we only live 6 blocks away. The order arrived and of course, wrong including the wrong chips. What was sent was wrong and already opened. I called and of course they would not answer. I left several voice mails and no return call. I expected a return call first thing but did not. I had to call today and speak to the manager in charge and was given the standard" we were short staffed" answer that they all rely on. Sending an open single size bag of the wrong chips ( who had their hands in them?) We love to support local BUT this was as bad as bad can be. I understand staffing issues right now but tbere is no excuse for how bad it was and the waste of the...
Read moreI have been going to Wall Street for as long as I can remember. Fewer times since the pandemic. Decided to get pizza tonight and I’m sad to see the service industry is not what it was in years past. We had a simple order consisting of a salad and a small pizza. It took 30 minutes to get the salad which wasn’t made right. After seeing other tables who I knew ordered after us get their pizzas I was forced to go inquire about our pizza. I asked the girl at the register and she quickly offered to go check on it for me. She came back and said “it just came out of the oven and just needs to be sliced” I knew they were semi busy so I accepted this and sat back down. A few minutes later she showed up with our “fresh out of the oven pizza” and we dove in but we didn’t need to be mindful of our fingers or mouths because of the fresh HOT pizza. It was cold. There is no way this pizza “just came out of the oven.” I have had many pizzas were it is so hot you can’t even grab it with your fingers so I know what a just out of the oven pizza should be. Very disappointing Wall Street… I guess this is where we part ways. Won’t be back and teach your employees to own up to a mistake. A remade… fresh pizza would have been better. At least I would have know you actually cared about your customers and the quality of...
