Pho.com Vietnamese Cuisine — Restaurant in Gresham

Second time we've had food from here and the second time they have got it wrong. This time we ate in the restaurant and took our order shortly after arriving. After the two of us got our Pho the third meal came out 15 minutes later. I was expecting the fourth one as well. It never came and the three of us were done eating. When I asked for the check I asked for the third meal to be put in a to go container. Fifteen minutes later I finally go the meal. As the three others in my party went to leave to go to the candy store the two gals in the restaurant looked at them and said " Did they pay?" and scurried to the register to check. As I came around the wood stalls that the tables are in I assured them that I was going to pay the bill. At check out I told both gals (one w/ short black hair and the other w/long black hair) that I feel that my last meal should be compensated or should at least receive a discount. They simply forgot a meal and it was the first one taken AND I had to wait for them to make it. Really embarrassing when you have guests in town. The gals with the short black hair replied "well, you go your meal, didn't ya?". I asked to speak to the manager but they said there was not one there. I paid the full bill and will never be back. I will stick to the Pho place in Happy Valley that I go to and has a larger variety on their menu. Highly disappointed, shouldn't have given them a second chance. Had to give one star just to be able to leave a review. And the prices are very, very high. Go to Pho Zen on Sunnyside in Happy Valley. It is more reasonably priced and has a larger...

Service was basic. They took your order and brought your food. Seriously...and waitstaff expect to get tips for this 🙄

The menu was also basic. Limited to vermicelli dishes and meat dishes with rice. There were baguette sandwiches available and appetizers. Not much of a variety

I wanted to take a vermicelli dish home with me so I ordered several appetizers as my entrée. Kazoo shrimp, spring roll, salad roll, and chicken wings. I thought all of them were very good except the wings. The chicken was old...like in the fridge days old...and then just dipped in a marinade and served. When I complained...they wouldn't deduct it from my ticket...said I had to substitute another appetizer instead...I didn't feel like arguing so I picked the shrimp.

The restaurant was cute the food that was available on the menu was as good as other Vietnamese restaurants...but the prices were eye popping high...$10. for appetizers... $17/$19...for a main entrée...and you had to pay at the counter without ever seeing a receipt. It's possible I ended up paying for those bad chicken wings after all. The bill for me and my guest was $105. before tip. And again you are EXPECTED to leave a tip. Which by the way...I am starting to resent. (Whole other story..) All in all...not sorry I went but I won't go back. Too many cute Vietnamese restaurants around with good food and reasonable prices that bring a receipt to your table when you...

We walked in, the atmosphere was great and the place smelled amazing but the service, or lack thereof, we got was unacceptable. I walked in and my friend and I were not greeted , the two people in front of us were served with the utmost care but when it came to us we were left waiting at the door for a while. One of the servers finally got to us after about 5 minutes, after fighting over which one would attend to us, then proceeds to spend another few minutes to clean a table then walks to the kitchen and doesn’t say anything to us. We assumed she was cleaning the table for us to sit at so we go and reluctantly sit, then when she finally notices we sat down she literally throws the menu at our table then walks away. My friend and I are black and it’s our opinion that the service we got was because of this. The white customers were getting good service but the servers did a double take when they saw us, then went to the kitchen. Then eventually a younger server was ushered out to barely attend to us. When we thought someone was finally going to take our order, they walk past us and tend to other customers at a different table. We ended up walking away from there given that the severs there were so unwilling...
