Kainos Coffee — Restaurant in Gresham

I really liked this place a lot a few months ago. Lately, it's been hit and miss. They no longer offer avocado on the breakfast bagel (BYOB).. They confirmed my delivery order, but when the driver went to pick up, they told the driver they dont have the order and asked the driver to contact me to cancel. I can't cancel without penalty so it was a bit of back and forth before the business finally canceled the order for having "missing items". That wasted over 30 minutes of my time and also the drivers time as well since he was assigned to pick it up but they didn't have it. They're pretty slow too. I like them but I think they could do better. I probably won't order from here again anytime...

For some reason it's super tough in Portland to be able to get a decent dripped coffee. There are no drip coffees anywhere in this town. You can't throw a rock without hitting an espresso bar. It's a shame. And there's a lot of small businesses here that don't get good business. Well that's where this kainos coffee comes in. A small business that offers delicious coffee. they roast their own beans. The guy behind the counter is amazing and super awesome. great conversation. I think I found my new coffee place. A great cup for a great price. Gentleman working there was kind, sociable, and very knowledgeable about his craft. The place itself was well put together, clean, and had comfortable seating. A very open and relaxed atmosphere with soft, pleasant lighting. The coffee itself was smooth and well crafted, roasted in-house, a refreshing cup that was a real delight. I also ordered a toasted asiago bagel, which came with a nice portion of butter. Nice and savory! If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend...
