We went this morning because they advertised these really cool ornaments and how to make them and we both were excited. I was thinking I could finally learn how to make the bear or the snowman one as those were my favorite ones. When we got there I asked the lady at the cash register where were they going to do the crafts and she asked me which one I said the ornaments she said to the far right back. And the cards are to the left and I said thank you. My friend said she was kinda rude. We walked back there and no tables so we were confused so we found another lady and asked her and she said no it's going to be over there to the left side of the store. She said Who told you it's over here? We said the lady at the cash register and she said card making is on the left side of the store and this lady said no there's no card making right now. So I said ok. So we walk towards the other side of the store and they are just starting to bring out the tables nothing is set up. And they tell us to go purchase the glass ball ornaments so we do. And I buy mine first. Then my friend buys hers the cash register lady remembers to give my friend the invitation to Christmas open house and says you cant get in without one but didnt give me a invite. Then turns around and says oh I forgot to give you one. What if I had already left the store? So then we go back to the tables and a few people are standing there and I'm hanging onto the shelf and I'm not feeling very good and I'm starting to get dizzy and i said are you guys going to have chairs and the lady said no this will only take 5 minutes to teach you guys and i was like what? And i said I'm dizzy i need a chair and she said to a co-worker she needed a chair so someone when and got a chair. And then she started telling people what to do. It was confusing we didn't understand her directions I had older ladies next to me who were confused. And she would turn and talk and I would only hear parts of the directions myself so it was confusing to me cause then her back was to me so I didnt hear her. It was 1 person. They brought the chair out. And one of the ladies said why aren't we doing what you posted on facebook and she showed the pic. And I said yeah this isnt what I thought I was coming for either. And the lady said I want to know how to do these with the glitter and faces are you teaching us these and she said no. So it was false advertising and it was confusing. It was disorganized and one person was rude. Would I ever go back and do it again? NO!!!! We're glad our craft only costed $5.00 and we can find so many more unique things to do with our other 8 ornaments that we took home. It's just disappointing we had to ruin the one there at the store cause its ugly!!

Great selection but horrible customer service. In the last month I have been here twice; the first time, items were marked down half price yet after driving home and looking at the receipt (for fear I paid more than I should have) I was charged the original price for the items and was forced to drive all the way back (from Sandy to Gresham) to pick up the $10 difference. The second time, just a few days ago, the same thing happened where the items were marked down yet rung up at original prices AND there was a store wide sale posted in flyers around all Christmas items, yet the manager (with blue and purple hair and eyebrows) not only argued with me about the price point but was completely sarcastic with me and so unprofessional to the point that my man had to run back and take a picture of the isle and flyer in front of the items for the price point to be honored. Just because they offer a greater selection of products (which is why they received 2 stars and not 1) and are family owned and operated doesnt make them superior; I will go out of my way to drive to the Vancouver location next time or will try Michael's or Joann's instead to not be overcharged, save myself the headache and to not being treated poorly and demeaned by staff and completely unprofessional "managers". 🤮👎👎👎👎👎 UPDATE: Changing my review to a 1 star (since 0 stars isn't an option) due to the recent response I received from the owner, completely overlooking the inappropriate behavior the "manager" demonstrated and the panic attack her demeanor threw me into. This company has made it apparent that the customer is NOT their priority and that they will take no necessary action to hold their staff members accountable for their inappropriate actions toward customers. I will be saving myself the stress and anxiety and will take my business elsewhere from now on. Completely disgusted at Craft Warehouse's lack of customer service and care!

Craft Warehouse is exceptional in so many ways:price, staff, selection, local business. But what always impresses me, as the primary fine-art supply consumer in the household, is the art supply section. It's a wonder, and would make a fine small art supply store on its own. The other craft stores ... Michael's, Jo-Ann ... make fine art supplies a lower priority and it shows. CW, however, has a section that is throroughly well-stocked and always in on-point order. It's a joy to browse. and if you can tell by the photos I've included, is thoughtfully curated and kept in good order. It's easy to tell that they know their audience pretty well. They draw the line between elite and the more pedestrian very well ... they run the range from cheap (Royal & Langnickel, Sierra Pacific Crafts, Prang) through the middle range (Grumbacher) to more sophisticated supplies (Daniel Smith, M. Graham) and have acrylic, oil, watercolor, drawing ... Canson papers ... even a small selection of how-to books. If you wanted to get started on a casual art hobby, this is a good place to do it. And, Bob Ross painters? You can get all the basic supplies here. Most complete Bob Ross shelf I've seen locally. Highly recommended for the casual art enthusiast and for the serious artist who might need to stop in and restock. Very well done.

This is a mixed review. So please and keep in mind, please, that, for one, I rarely leave reviews , especially negative ones, because I know there are one off situations sometimes, and unless it's a repetitive experience, it's not worth dinging a company's reputation. At craft warehouse, there were some really amazing things, but my final experience and feelings when I was leaving, weren't so great. So the good; there were two employees that were amazing. friendly and helpful (the long, dark-haired, younger lady in the bead area and then one younger lady that looked as if she going on break as I walked in). I was so excited when I walked in, because I had never been anywhere with quite so many awesome crafting supplies, and there was such a wide array of beautiful, mythical, "my vibes" kinds of things, I didnt even know where to start. I grabbed a cart (I'm 61/2 Months pregnant and my hips hurt so everywhere i go, I grab a cart to help me walk around) and started looking through all of the wonderful things. I grabbed a few items and stuck em in my cart, so that if I decided that I wanted them, I had them and didn't have to walk back and find them again (again, with the hurting from pregnancy thing). As I was making my way to the front of the store towards check out, I realized I don't have my wallet, so I started walking back thru the store, trying to put stuff back from where I had found it. While I was doing this, I received a frantic phone call from a friend stating that he was having an emergency, he was stuck and he needed my boyfriend and I (I'd be the audience, lol) to help him get his truck unstuck from the mud. So I hurriedly put the rest of the things that I had picked up back, I apologize for them not being on the right shelves or in the right places, but at that point I needed to hurry. But as I was walking out, I felt like I was being stared at by a bunch of employees, almost like they were trying to see if I had stolen anything. All three of the employees that were doing this inside of the store, literally followed me with their gaze, out to my boyfriend's vehicle and watched me as I got in. When I realized they were watching, me because my boyfriend pointed it out, they all waved at me for whatever reason. (It was two older or middle aged ladies and a younger lady with black and purple hair who had been merchandising while I was looking around). It made me very upset because I thought I was being pleasant and kind with everybody I spoke to. I like to start conversations with people when I go into new places so that I can hopefully, make acquaintances so that they are more willing to help me when I have questions and be patient with me when I'm confused. I don't know if I feel comfortable coming back into your establishment because that made me feel really anxious and sad, and I don't like feeling that way, ever, but especially if I've done nothing wrong. I was really super excited to visit your establishment for the very first time. I will admit, I did touch a lot of things, but there were a lot of beautiful/exciting things to inspect. And, I don't know what the deal was, I don't know if I was being accused of stealing anything , or if I was just confused by the interaction, but nobody confronted me or anything , they just all made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I would have gladly shown anybody the inside of my purse if that was the problem, but nobody said anything, they just made me feel really awkward and then awkwardly waved at me as I drove away with...

I truly love walking into Craft Warehouse and looking around at everything. They also carry the prettiest fabric lines. The reason why I gave it three stars is because, what seems to be a common theme among all craft stores, the employees seem to know nothing about the products they carry. I was in the checkout line I had just spent $87 on fabric and I asked the woman if she knew where to find heat resist or insulated.. if she had let me finish I would have said material for making ovenmits or hot pads. (Im in the process of building a quilters ironing board to sit on top of my normal ironing board.) Before I could finish though she just said "no, we don't carry anything like that we only carry quilting cotton". I mean it's not like I expect people to know everything about every product they have but I would appreciate a response more along the lines of "I'm not sure let me find out for you" or "I've never heard of that but let me check." There's nothing more annoying than somebody who is confident in their wrong answer. I told her it wasn't quilting cotton I was looking for, what I was looking for would probably be in the batting section and it was like I couldn't even get that sentence out because she just kept shaking her head no as if she was so positive they didn't carry anything like that. This wouldn't really warrant me coming on here and writing this review if it weren't for a couple times ago when I was there looking for straw needles for applique and again no one knew what I was talking about and not only that but you feel like you're the idiot when you're asking them a question. They don't seem to be concerned with suggesting where you might find such item. More than likely because they have no idea what it is in the first place. I just wish the employees there( and all craft stores) would have to like take some classes on whatever section they work in. Anyways, that's my only complaint. Otherwise I love what Craft Warehouse carries and I love getting inspiration from the completed projects that are hung up...
