There are not enough expletives in the English dictionary to describe my experience. I bought a chair, a bed and a reclining love seat from this place. The chair is fine (so far) the love seat broke after less than a month, they sent someone from another place in Vancouver to repair it. The guy came out and replaced the part that makes the recliner recline and a few weeks later the same thing happened again and I was told I’d have to wait over a month for it to be repaired so I called the store and asked for a refund.

I was told I could have a store credit which I’m not thrilled about because I don’t trust the next loveseat to be of high quality but it was my only option. They were supposed to contact me last night with an ETA for today. They never did contact me so I called for an ETA because I had an appointment at 11AM. A few minutes later I received a text that they were on their way 15 minutes out. Had they shown up on time I would have just made it on time to my appointment, but nope they didn’t show up so I had to cancel my appointment. I decided to call Michaels discount furniture which is where the delivery comes from. They said the driver would arrive by 12:30PM. So I cancelled my appointment for nothing.

I am livid because not only is the furniture junk but the customer service is terrible. I honestly have nothing nice to say about this place. In addition to all of this chaos, the bed was not put together correctly when they delivered it so the headboard hits the wall every time that I move.

If they aren’t here by 12:30 I’m calling the highest ranking person I can find and demanding a refund. I mean I don’t think it’s too much to ask of them to put the furniture together correctly and to communicate with the customer.

My mom has been a long time customer here for years, and knows alot of people by name... She brought me in as I desperately needed a new bed, and PRONTO... I ended up purchasing 2 twin xl adjustable frames & matresses $2200+, I was concerned from the start as the beds were separate, and I wanted a bed to lay next to my husband, instead of in another bed next to him, I asked on date of purchase if they had any issues at all, the person stated no, not at all... I bought them, came back 3 days later to pick them up myself, I took them back to Beaverton where I reside, set them both up, its like having 2 twin beds side by side, the very 1st night, the frames stayed stationary, but the matress kept parting in the middle, so when u woke up, the middle of the night or morning, the matresses were more than half way off the frames?? I called and spoke to a manager, he stated that he's never heard of this issue, he wanted me personally to reach out to the manufacturer myself and tell the manufacturer the company Furniture City has never had an issie like this, and what do they suggest, I told him, its like the matrrss slides over when u roll over?? I never heard anything from the store again, until he called my mom 3 weeks later, to tell me he reached out to the manufacturer like he told me to do, and kept asking my mom questions, like my mom came with me, I purchased the bed at 39yrs old.. So why would u call my mom when she's not the purchaser?? I am still stuck with a bed that doesn't stay together, he suggested I buy another frame, I said sir I bought 2 new ones and 2 new matresses, this shouldn't be happening at all... To this day, I have never heard from them, they never rectified anything regarding my $2200+ beds & matreeses that are worthless basically... I won't come...

I'm honestly disappointed with this company. Went in and was promised the set we are getting is made for Obese people. Product showed up several days late from given time and with in 2 weeks the solo chair that came with it snapped like a twig. Not only was I lied to I was made fun of by who I believe is one of the owners of the store for my size. I explained the day of payment I was looking for extra strength that can hold upward of 600 to 700 pounds. Then he started making fun of my size because I'm sadly in that weight range and was so shocked I came in person. Thats no way to speak to someone who just dropped over 4 Grand on your Product. Luckily I have insurance on the couches and he said someone will be down to check in a few weeks. Now I get no couch for a while till the guy shows if he shows. Not to mention how long it will take to get the chair fixed or replaced. I personally won't be buying from this company again and I recommend you don't either. Poor management, customer service,...
