Arby's — Restaurant in Grimes

As I rolled in through the drive through, the smell of food cooking was like Jesus had come down to Earth and blessed my nostrils. I closed my eyes for a brief moment, throwing my head back in pure bliss accompanied with joy. A slight drool came out of my mouth just as I was about to order due to how much my mouth watered at the delicious treats which would soon be in my stomach. The person who took my order was an angel, it seemed as though I could see their halo shining brightly through the speaker holes. Their voice was literally angelic, it touched my heart and made it melt as they took my order. When I pulled up to the window, my eyes locked with the short brunette who had taken my order and they gave me a heart-felt smile. They were so adorable and kind as they gave me my food, their name appeared to be Wren from what I could tell on their name tag. Wren was absolutely astonishing at everything they did and was an amazing employee from what I could tell in those few moments. Everything went well, minimal lines, amazing service, wonderful staff members, outstanding food, except there was some girl around the same height as Wren with longer brown hair in a ponytail supposedly named Izzy. This Izzy person seemed to be causing havoc among the staff. Telling people what to do, even if they were doing it just fine. She seemed snobby, unlike Wren. All at this establishment was perfect, besides the Izzy girl. I feel as though she creates tension and annoyance at this place and it would be better if she wasn't there. Decided to give this arbys a try this evening. We ordered our food in the lobby. The girl taking our order definitely needs further training on her customer service skills. We had a simple order with no substitutions or complications but still received multiple eye rolls and exasperated dirty looks. There was also another employee sitting in the lobby taking selfies and messing around with the girl who took our order. Once we received our food my sons beef and cheddar was cold as was my gyro. The curly fries seemed to be from the end of the bag and cold. When I approached the counter to ask for a bag (decided we would take it home to heat it up and eat) the girl who had taken our order gave a mockingly frustrated face at a coworker about me coming to the counter. She then laughed and walked away before I could even ask for the bag. I retrieved my son and left. Don’t think we’ll be returning...

Waaaaay to slow at this place. I waited 30min in the drive up while I watched the employees play around and sneak out the back until I finally just left. Fast food is supposed to be fast food. No ot 30minutes plus while your employees play around and flirt and sneak out for smoke or vape breaks . I also saw 2 other vehicles in front of me do the same thing. Shameful. Will never go here again and will make sure to tell everyone I know so they dont waste their time waiting for workers that never serve. Awful...
