Starbucks in Grimes! Finally!!
If you don't mind the short wait for your ritual Starbucks, this location is great. Little bit of a wait since it's new and the only Starbucks storefront in the neighborhood.
Drinks made as expected. Flavors were spot on and made as requested.
Service was ok, nice. Full staff (I saw 7 employees) on a Friday and Saturday morning. They were whipping those orders so fast. Online orders were very popular. Drive through was lined up to 8 cars long in parking lot.
I dined in and watched the orders being made. I didn't wait long inside. Maybe 5 min max.
Total came to $11.xx for two drink after gratuity.
Seating and decor inside is modern and comfy. The old photos show a high top table in the middle of the cafe but it recently changed to this long connected lounge booth and three sets of tables. I like this set up waaay better.
Limited seating and can get packed very quickly. Average loudness inside since it's small and people were packing it up. I probably wouldn't study here. It's ok for a coffee meet but don't expect space for quiet talk.
Can't wait for outdoor seating to open up!
Overall it was a nice visit. I would visit again and recommend if you're in the neighborhood and want your...
Read moreWe have had several issues with this location but the most recent was a little much. My daughter wanted to stop on her birthday as she received a notification from Starbucks that said “enjoy your favorite food or drink on us”. She wanted to order a sandwich. The woman at the drive thru very rude to sighed and said we couldn’t use the points for a sandwich, we could only use it for a drink. When I asked about it she just repeated herself. Okay. We paid for her sandwich and got a chai for myself. While waiting in line, we watched her hair the incorrect drink to the car in front of us several times, the customer would hold the drink and give it back. I ordered a Trenta chai, which I could visibly see was one of the drinks she handed to the people in the car which they handed back. She kept it in her hand as they drove away and handed it directly to me. In any establishment I’ve ever been in, if another customer took that drink in their car and handed it back, the barista would have dumped it out and made a new one, not handed it to the next person. I immediately threw it away and didn’t bother coming back. Caribou is clearly the...
Read moreI understand that it’s Mother’s Day today, so I get that things can be busy—but my experience was still incredibly frustrating. I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience today was frustrating enough that I felt like it needed to be said. I placed a mobile order through the Starbucks app for the drive-through and got an email confirmation saying it was received and completed. When I got to the drive-through, I was told they didn’t have my order and that I needed to come inside. I explained that the app showed my order was completed, but instead of looking into it or offering a solution, I was told it was probably due to a “new system.” That felt more like an excuse than anything else. I was told to leave the drive-through and go inside, where the line was incredibly long—on Mother’s Day, no less. I had already ordered and paid ahead of time, but still ended up leaving empty-handed. This whole situation was really disappointing and felt like a complete waste of time. I expected better especially when the issue was...
