Taco John's — Restaurant in Grimes

Buyer beware. The Grimes website, under menu, clearly states buy 1 super burrito, bravo, or beef and potato burrito, get another for a $1. I went to claim the deal and they said they didn't have that deal anymore. I was questioned by several employees, and even showed them their menu on my phone. Manager said it was a mistake. They did end up offering the deal, but after being interrogated, and making me feel bad about their incorrect marketing, I told them they will not get my business. Would have thought they would have proudly honored the deal when Taco Bell is across the street. My sister not only received food that looked like trash and was cold, but when she asked for a refund and the managers information, Elexa the Assistant Manager decided to weponize the police and call them to the scene. My sister, who is also a political figure, was not belligerent, all she wanted was her refund and the mangers information to let them know how their "Assistant Manager" acts towards customers. First, I opened the bathroom door to find an employee sitting on the can playing on his phone, pants up. I shut the door, whatever. I see no one at the counter, but there is a self service kiosk, I place my order and what is $8-9 is just shy of $14. No combos apparently all ala carte.
