After getting out of work I had decided to grab my family something to eat at this McDonald's location at 3:35pm... Seemed like a good idea at the time... When I reached the speaker to order I asked what other cheese I could get on their buttermilk chicken sandwich. The person on the other end listed all their cheeses and I asked for smoked gouda cheese. She checked to make sure and then told me that they couldn't do that. She listed white cheddar, American, Swiss, and mozzarella. I asked to get Swiss.... And the speaker went quiet... At this point there was a long long line of cars behind me ... And some even left deciding not to wait. Then she returned to the speaker and told me that she couldn't do that either. So I asked what kinda I could get aside from american, and decided to go with mozzarella. I then ordered a 10pc nugget, a cheeseburger, a French fry, a dessert, and a sweet tea... Had this been all I experienced I wouldn't even bothered to leave a review... Since it was annoying but not out of the ordinary. I paid over $17 and drove to the second window. The employee handed me my sweet tea and then I waited for the rest of my order. I waited another 10min before the employee at the window asked me to pull forward and that someone would bring my order out to me. So I did, I pulled forward and waited and waited and waited. Finally the employee from the window brought out my awaited order. I checked what was in the bag before I left, and I'm glad I did. In it was two McChicken sandwiches, my fry, my dessert, and my chicken sandwich with mozzarella. So I explained that I didn't order the McChickens and I didn't receive the cheeseburger and nuggets I had ordered. The employee realized that the car that was waiting behind me got the remainder of my order and I had the tems they were missing. The car behind me was also getting out to talk to the employee about the mix-up. We both asked to have our orders corrected and made again. I reiterated that all I needed was the nuggets and burger.... So again I waited and waited and waited. The other car, who had been waiting for their corrected order, decided to go inside to get theirs fixed. Shortly after the walked out with their corrected order and approached my car and suggested that I go inside to get my order faster. So I did... I parked my car and walked inside. I explained that I had been waiting for the corrected order and they (some employees and the manager Donald) said it was almost done. I waited for a little and they handed me a bag of food. I spoke with Donald about how long I had waited to get the order corrected and that I wanted some kind of refund since the food I received initially was ice cold now. He handed me a voucher for one free combo meal. I then looked in the bag they had just handed me ...expecting to see a burger and nuggets.... But instead I saw a burger and fries ... I told them again that it was wrong and they gave me the missing nuggets. I asked for my receipt back so I could leave a review .... What started off as a quick trip to get an early dinner turned into the longest wait I had ever experienced... I started at 3:35pm and left at 4:10pm... Ridiculous and...
Read moreI searched for about an hour on Google maps to review this McDonald’s because it said I didn’t visit here. That’s how much I’m willing to leave this review. I would like to start off this review by first saying that we were going through the drive thru. We ordered 2 of the 2 cheeseburger meals. We ordered one sprite and one water for those meals. They ran out of water apperantly. So we had to give my brother a sprite he won’t even drink. Next, I would like to talk about the service. The employees were nice and all. Nothing much to report about there. Lastly, I would like to talk about the food. The two cheeseburgers had problems. One of them had a burnt bottom bun. The other one had un-melted and cold cheese, as if it was placed on right on the burger. The ketchup was really chunky which I guess I don’t mind. They had quick service, which although is amazing in most places, just proves no effort was made in putting together these burgers. Fries were fine at first but they made my Tounge tingle after eating them all (no allergies to potatoes or any food item by the way.) this is the worst McDonald’s I’ve been to this entire trip. So here’s my tips for this McDonald’s:
Ask your workers to keep having the friendly service they do. Also ask them to please take more quality into making their food. I’m supposing that the potatoes weren’t washed before being made. Please wash the food before giving them to customers. It can actually make someone really sick. Maybe have more water for little brothers who just want a water because he won’t drink sprite.

Read moreI have lived in the apartment complex behind this McDonald's store for 7 years. I have visited this location many, many times over that time period. This has got to be the absolute worse managed McDonald's on the planet! This morning, for the third time in two months, I pulled up to the drive through window at 5:45 am only to find out that this store wasn't open yet because not enough employees showed up for work. Over the past 6 months, I've received a cheeseburger with no burger on it, a double cheeseburger instead of the chicken sandwich that I ordered, a cheeseburger happy meal when I ordered a chicken mcnugget happy meal, and on, and on, and on, and on! Just yesterday, I walked in, ordered a breakfast meal, sat and ate at one of the tables, and watched the on-duty manager sit and play with her phone the entire time I was there. At the same time, the girl working the drive through got angry when a co-worker tried to correct her on something she wasn't doing correctly. This place is like a zoo with no zookeepers. And, the really sad thing about all of this is that if you look over the customer reviews for this store, they are all BAD! Very BAD! And, no one who represents McDonald's is doing anything about it. I think I'll start a petition in town to shut this McDonald's down for poor quality of service, horrible food, and unclean conditions. Where is the Groton city council? Why aren't they demanding that the stores in this town provide at least a modicum of cleanliness and customer service to their fellow town folks?
