Pano's Pizza — Restaurant in Groton

Ordered $45 worth of food and tipped the driver $5. Opened the box to find what appeared to be a slice missing. I wasn’t sure if they were using smaller pans or what was going on so I called the restaurant and was nice about it and said “this is awkward but I think someone took a slice from my pizza”. She said “the driver!?” I said “I’m not sure it just showed up and it’s missing a piece”. She then yelled “that is impossible! It must have been one of your people who did it!” I was in disbelief haha…. All this drama over one missing slice. Incredibly rude people and just down right awful to deal with. You would have thought I was trying to rob them of their life savings. I would have been fine with a free slice on my account. Now you lost at the very least 5 regular customers from my household, my friends, and anyone else I tell of this experience. Ridiculous. Don’t treat your customers in...

I just ordered from Pano's Pizza in Groton. We ordered 2 Egg Plant Parm Grinders, one with the sauce on the side and another with the sauce on it, as well as two orders of large fries and a 2 ltr of coke. The total was $29, which isn't a terrible prize. When we were delivered our food, it smelled amazing...until we opned it up. The egg plant was mushy and something akin to a defrosted frozen vegetable of some sort. I was perplexed as to why they barely toasted the bread. It was absolutely in-eatable. The color and consistently of the egg plant reminded me of re-fried beans. The only satisfying thing about the order was the french fries which perfect. First time ordering from Panos. Sadly will be the last and only time I dine from this place. Delivery took an hour and fourty five minutes to arrive. Food was mediocre at best. Chicken Cesar salad was completely brown and slimy, I can’t believe they would serve rotten lettuce on a salad. The pizzas and grinder were burned tasting and greasy. Terrible. Better off eating McDonalds. Gross. They don’t use premium food products, or even basic fresh food for that matter. What a waste of $50.00 for poor food AND service. Will NEVER eat here again. Save your money and time and go to any other pizza place...
