Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Groves

This has got to be one of the, if not the worst, Popeyes location ever. We pulled in at 8:50 PM And we're surprised by the lack of lights on the outside of building. Delights inside the building seemed to be on, So I assumed they had just closed... We looped through the drive thru anyway and saw a man standing at the drive through window so I pulled up and asked him what time they closed assuming that they were already closed. He informs me that they are not closed but that there's a 30 minute wait for chicken. Despite the long wait I said that would be no problem. we ordered a 12 piece tender meal and 4 drinks. it was $38.00 and some change. Five or six minutes later he hands us out a box of tenders A thing of mashed potatoes and managed to mess up A drink order for water somehow. Everything we receive was cold, which I didn't hear about until we got Home after that had been eaten. My son was sick the following day who are the stomach ache. I don't know if the two are related but I would not doubt it. I have no doubt that the employees and the manager that was there were trying to close the store early and had the lights shut off to discourage customers from coming so that they could get out early. it was a total waste of $40. We absolutely will not be back.

The next day I called their corporate number and told them what had happened and they couldn't care less to be completely honest. They simply said "We'll forward this to the manager". considering the manager was in the store counting drawers, I doubt that will do any good.

Personally I'd really like to see the health department get involved, because I think that that serving people cold chicken is likely not...

They are very sorry and pitiful. They advertise that they have a chicken sandwich and then when we get up to the Drive thru speaker to order it they tell us that they have discontinued their chicken sandwich, but they still have the advertisement on their window like they are still selling it. I call that false advertisement. A company should not try to compete with a company like ChikFil-A if they cannot handle the heat in the kitchen plain and simple. It is a crying shame when a company that sells chicken can't keep up with the inventory of a simple chicken sandwich. Hopefully Popeyes will not come up with any other bright marketing ideas till they get their management act together. I hope all minds are...

If I could rate this location a negative five I would. This is the worst Popeyes location I have ever been at and I have been eating Popeyes chicken for the last 30 years. I made a mobile order so I would get exactly what I wanted. Spent 48 mins in drive thru only to get home and find I was shorted food. Returned to the location, waited another 29 mins in drive thru. I got attitude from the employees and when I got there, there was three employees standing outside smoking in front of the store. Paid extra for sauces we never got.... food was cold..... absolutely the worst most ridiculousness. Can't stand when people make a mistake and get an attitude when you ask them to make it right. Stay away from this...
