A Sweet Secret Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Gulf Shores

Dropped in on vacay a couple of weeks ago to try to get cupcakes for two birthdays we were celebrating. The customer service was phenomenal! We needed 18, but there were only a few in the display case. The lady assisting us (who I presume is the owner) offered to make more and even added some decorative sparkle to the frosting when she was finished. The other young lady in the store was also very kind and accommodating. We bought vanilla cupcakes, some with vanilla frosting and some with chocolate, and also got a fudge brownie, which was delicious! The surprise cupcakes were a hit with our family.

I came in early spring looking for a coffee during my lunch break and they were some of the most kind people I've ever met. Got myself a cinnamon roll and it was one of the most unique and best tasting cinnamon rolls I've ever had. It genuinely feels like a labor of love and the coffee was great.

There's some seating available as well for a limited number of people. Overall it's a hidden secret tucked away just off of the busy thoroughfare. If you're visiting any of the nearby shops - I'd highly recommend stopping in. Prices are very fair and I can't recommend...

This local, all homemade items by two sisters, is amazing!! We have been here a few times now, and they never disappoint!! They are open early which I love because I can run by there, pick up just baked items and deliver them to our guests at our beach rental. They have a large variety of options from pastries, breads, quiches, and even treats for your fur babies!! All items are fresh baked on site and hand made by the owners!!
