Spoonz Rolled Ice Cream — Restaurant in Gulf Shores

We cannot say enough wonderful comments about Spoonz and most importantly, the owner!!! 💕Our teenage daughter has severe food allergies, which makes it very difficult to find places that are safe for her to eat at, much less enjoy a treat! We contacted the owner of Spoonz while we were on vacation to see if there was any chance that their ice cream would be safe for our daughter. The owner responded to our inquiry almost immediately (which never happens)!! And sure enough, they are indeed an allergen friendly facility!! Needless to say, our whole family was thrilled!!! We visited the next day and could not have been more pleased!!! The rolled ice cream was delicious and it was so fun to watch it being made!!! Very rich tasting ice cream. When you walk in there's a counter with a register and a window. I would highly recommend the owners to put seats or a bench or something where little kids can look in the glass and watch them roll the ice cream. $9.50 is a little extreme for some ice cream. I don't care if it's rolled or scooped. They have some favorites that they serve and then you can also get just regular flavors like chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY to Spoonz Ice Cream! This is the first time we have had rolled ice cream. We had the key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake. It was nothing short of fabulous!
