Ordered a simple 2 for 10 chicken meal, waited TWENTY MINUTES in the drive thru AFTER I placed my order for my food. There were 3 cars ahead of me when I placed my order, and it was at least 8 minutes before even the first of those cars moved from the window. The other cars went a bit faster. Then I get to the window, they hand me my drinks, I pay, and they tell me to "pull up a bit" because my food was JUST NOW being dropped into the fryer. I worked in fast food during high school and would have been absolutely chewed out for this kind of time in line. We had timers and alarms for every car in line, and it kept you on your toes. I will remember that this is no longer a “fast” food establishment. Very poor service as I had to pay for my food. I would have left if not for that fact. No apology or anything for the extreme delay. This is the second time in recent months that we have been disappointed in the service. The lady who took our order, her name was Scooby, we told her like 5 times we don't want French fries we only want chicken fries. And they still gave us French fries. The African American lady bagging food around 12:00 pm on Thursday September 7th was so beyond rude to my fiancé telling him that we ordered fries, and that she already sat his food on the counter and he said it wasn't his. Well it's not. We didn't order any fries. I go up to the counter and she gets a attitude with me THE CUSTOMER, about how we did order fries. Read moreWe have visited Burger King in Gulf Shores 3 different times in the past 2 months. These are hands down the rudest group of employees we have ever encountered. The last time we were in there, we asked for the District Manager's phone number which they refused to give us. They asked us what the problem was so we described to them how rude they have been. After we left the counter to sit down and eat our food, the employees huddled together and started laughing and mocking our conversation in voices loud enough that the whole restaurant was able to hear their conversation. In addition, the American Flag that is flying is a disgrace. I have been trying since January 29, to reach someone, anyone at corporate customer service who will act on these issues instead of just giving me ridiculous canned customer service responses in emails.
