My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Efes Greek Kitchen during our Gulf Shores trip for the Shrimp Festival, and it was truly a memorable experience. Without a doubt, Efes Greek Kitchen is the go-to spot for the best Greek food in Alabama.

I couldn't resist trying the Gyro Combo, and it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were outstanding, and the portions were more than satisfying. My wife's choice of Greek fries was equally delightful, perfectly seasoned and crispy.

While we were unable to dine indoors due to the restaurant's lack of indoor seating space, we were pleasantly surprised by how cute and comfortable the outdoor tables were. It's perfect for enjoying the Gulf Shores weather.

But what truly stood out was the warmth of the employees. The staff at Efes Greek Kitchen is incredibly kind and accommodating, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.

As a family who adores Greek food and has had a lot of it in Greek communities within the US, this was a huge disappointment. Traveling we talked about finding really good Greek food and this had great reviews. It was our first night here and we needed something quicker. The parking situation is tough but we worked it out. Service was fairly quick and the gentleman was super friendly.. We both ordered the chicken pita. While the portion was huge it was messy and very different than any other authentic Greek food I’ve had. The tzatziki was really bland. The fries were extremely greasy. The hummus and pita was totally fine but I tried to eat it after I’d had my pita which didn’t help. Not the best hummus I’ve had but not the worst. The food wasn’t cheap and unfortunately a few bites in for both my husband and I we started not feeling very well and stomachs began to hurt. I stopped eating immediately and threw 2/3 of my food away. My husband threw away at least half as well. We wanted to love it but after our experience we would not...

My husband ordered the Gyro, and he absolutely loved it. The flavors were exceptional, and it was clear that the ingredients were of high quality.

I opted for the falafel, and I must say, it was a delight for my taste buds. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside.

To complete our meal, we ordered hummus, which was impressively authentic in taste and texture. It was the perfect appetizer to start our meal.

The weather was perfect, so we chose to sit outside, enhancing our dining experience. Efes Greek Kitchen's outdoor seating area offers a lovely ambiance for enjoying your meal.
