Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Gulf Shores

Absolutely appalled by the level of service and attitude by 2 of the employees. I was here with my daughter to enjoy lunch together. They called my name for the order but 3 entire items were wrong on the tray so I assumed it was for someone else by the same name (what is the likelihood of 3 wrong items and the entree being incorrect) after waiting about 10 minutes I finally ask about it and was told that the incorrect order was mine. Upon showing the receipt, the lady behind the counter struck up an attitude about having to correct it. Then the kitchen staff yelled back at me when I asked them to remake the entire order after it was sitting for 10 minutes. I can only assume this was some type of manager as she was constantly barking orders and yelling at employees the entire time I was there. I don't know how she has any employees left working for her. Completely unprofessional and should either be fired or go back for proper management training. If I was her superior walking in on this, I would have fired her on the spot. I frequent this place often, so I will give it one more chance, but if it is like that again, I will no longer return. If any employees are reading this, I am so sorry that your experience with your manager...

We have been coming to Gulf Shores for the last several years and make it a point to get a few meals at Zaxby’s. We’ve always enjoyed the food, but wanted something a little different, especially some form of grilled chicken. We saw on the Zaxby’s website menu items that were not displayed on the menu board, most notably to us, the Philadelphia Chicken Cheese sandwich. When ordering, we were pleasantly surprised to see they had it and it could be grilled chicken. When our order came to us, we were pleasantly surprised at how much chicken, peppers, onions and cheese were on. We split the sandwich and have since come back several times for more. Keep it on the menu Please! Second, we have been to this location many times.The atmosphere is great with all the local sports items, but we felt the place wasn’t clean enough. The floors were either sticky or felt greasy, and the counter for drinks and condiments was not in the greatest shape. On our first few visits this year we noticed the difference, not sticky or greasy floors and the drink/condiment area was in great shape! Keep up the good work! Finally the service has been pretty constant…very good! Personable, smiling and look and sound like they enjoy...

Okay I will try to be as helpful as possible to all you guys who read these before you go. Atmosphere: Workers here are really nice, gave us suggestions(first timers), and took care of the problem we had which I’ll get into later. The table we sat at, we love the round table but it kept moving so much(just sit somewhere else lol). The drink machine was not working! I poured 5 different drinks and none of them were good because something wasn’t right so I waved the right flag and got a drink from the counter. Bathrooms were clean however we did show up on open lol.

Food: I want to start off on a good note, the tenders were great, I loved them, super fresh and breading was good. Fries also good, had seasoning on them which helped them even more. The wings were great, the Hot Honey made the wings 9/10. The toast was also one of our favorites from a couple places we tried. However… the bad, the sandwich.. The chicken patty was way too thin, the bread to meat ratio was terrible. The bun should never be bigger than the chicken! lol.
