Please make sure to read this entire review, as I want to highlight both my love for Boozer and an ongoing issue I’ve encountered. Boozer is an absolutely amazing coffee shop with excellent staff who are always kind and welcoming. Their coffee is incredible, the food is delicious, and the prices are very affordable. It’s truly one of my favorite spots.
Every time I visit with the infant I nanny for, there’s a homeless man sitting on the couch, which is typically the most comfortable spot for someone managing a bulky stroller. While I have deep compassion for individuals who are struggling, it’s frustrating that this happens every single day. I just feel so incredibly bad for the frustration that I feel in general, knowing what he must be going through.
The man frequently strikes up conversations with me, and while I generally don’t mind chatting, these interactions tend to be tedious and intrusive. He also stares at the baby and makes repeated comments, which feels uncomfortable and overwhelming as a caregiver.
I truly appreciate Boozer’s welcoming environment and all they do for their customers and community. I just wish there was a way to balance inclusivity with ensuring all guests feel comfortable. Boozer is still an amazing coffee shop, and I hope to continue enjoying it...
Read moreThe place had one person inside & one car in drive-thru at 7:22am. I ordered a sandwich and coffee. About 4 people came in behind me. Three of them got their food orders before me. It took me to speak up loudly at 8am. While I was belittled by another customer for "being so rude" (because of how loud and frustrated I had become for this happening the 3rd time of being at this particular location), I found out two managers were hiding in the kitchen asking the two cashiers where was my food order ticket. When the manager found my ticket in the system to refund my money, the sandwich was the first on the order. Nobody, especially the cashier, looks at the numbers given to customers to see if they have anything from their order. It doesn't matter how non-busy or busy the workers are at this location, the customer service left when the Pass Rd...
Read moreI found this place by searching Instagram hashtags for coffee in Gulfport. I was recently here while visiting for my daughter’s cheer competition in Biloxi from July 15-22. The first time my husband and I split a turkey sandwich and fruit for lunch. I had an iced latte that was made like an almond joy with coconut & mocha. He had the regular coffee and enjoyed it! The second time I came with my daughter, she had a breakfast croissant sandwich and I had a warm Cinnabon latte’ and it was so good! My husband tried the frozen chai, there was something “off” about it. The third time we stopped on our way out of town, I had an everything bagel breakfast sandwich and a Cinnabon latte’ with oat milk and my husband had hot coffee. All of our visits were wonderful! The employees were kind and welcoming, the food and drinks were...
