Shout out to Mykah!!!!! Honestly, Mykah was so sweet and helpful and full of smiles and kindness. She radiated good vibes and energy ✌🏻
We found this place when exploring coffee in Gulfport. I was recently here while visiting July 15-22. The first time my husband and I stopped in Mykah assisted us and she was AMAZING! I wasn’t sure what I wanted but after a few minutes of chatting she suggested a mocha/cupcake and said it would taste like a chocolate birthday cake. She was right! It was so delicious, positively amazing! He had the regular coffee and enjoyed it! The second time I came with my husband and daughter, we were sad Mykah was off but the young man made me what I had with Mykah and it was great! My husband got the frozen chai and he absolutely loved it. My daughter got a cold brew with hazelnut and a splash of cream, along with a pastry. Both of our visits were wonderful! We would have come back again on our way out of town but you weren’t open that early. The employees were kind and welcoming, the pastry and drinks were great!
Highly recommend...
Read moreEvery roast, blend, syrup, and other add-in you could wish for served by incredible kind and efficient staff. I asked for strong, smooth coffee that had low acid content, and two workers immediately called out the best option of their hot brews (they had more than five hot carafes ready!). Spacious yet cozy dining room with indoor and outdoor seating available. Sit on the hwy49 side bar and watch the busy traffic, try the big leather sofa, or sit at one of the many tables, etc. So many restaurants are designed to be unco.fortable enough to discourage a long stay, not so at Coast Roast. It's just right! Plenty of friend groups quietly chatting, students studying, and workers typing away on laptops as they sip. Definitely the best café in downtown Gulfport.
There are not a ton of food options, but plenty for a coffee shop. Unlike the all the fast food restaurants, these guys have amazingly smooth, rich...
Read moreAs a local who genuinely loves supporting small businesses, I’m disappointed to say I won’t be returning to Coast Roast. For over a year, I’ve been a loyal customer—stopping by roughly once a month to buy two bags of whole bean coffee, a snack, and a latte. Yesterday’s experience, however, sealed the deal for me.
It’s one thing to have an off day, but disingenuous attitude is a surefire way to alienate regulars. The attitude I encountered was not only dismissive but made it clear that customer care isn’t a priority among the new staff. I was half tempted to cancel my order and ask for my money back…
I’ve always enjoyed supporting this place, but after yesterday, I’ll be ordering my beans online instead. I can no longer recommend this spot to friends or colleagues. Local businesses thrive on goodwill and community, but sadly, this one seems to have lost...
