Starbucks — Restaurant in Guntersville

03-02-2024 Saturday Stopped by the drive-thru today on my way out of town & ordered my usual but they told me they did not have a way to make it. WHAT?! Then a different voice came over the speaker to tell me the option they had similar to what I had asked for. I then ordered a different drink, just to be told they did not have it either. I left❗ In over 20 years of visiting Starbuck's locations, I have never encountered anything like this before today. Even a few miles up the road at the Starbuck's in Food City, they make these drinks! I highly do NOT recommend wasting your time or money hereI I ordered the same drink at another coffee shop in Guntersville without difficulty and it was delicious. I also ordered the same drink at a Starbuck's in Hazel Green, AL later tonight without difficulty & it was delicious. I do not understand what the problem was at THIS location today.

a year ago: Update: what is up with this starbuck's? Every Frappuccino we get now tastes different but we can order the exact same frappacinno in other cities & they're terrific! So disappointing 😞

a year ago: Why are they out of almond milk every time I visit this location? Where is management? As much as these coffees cost, can you not go across the street and purchase almond milk?? So many folks cannot have dairy! Geez!

They were out of an ingredient needed to make my favorite coffee drink but the guy was exceptionally nice & knowledgeable about coffee drinks similar to my fave & offered suggestions. I stopped by this location mid March. The drink was ok but customer service was THE worst Ive ever experienced at any Starbucks. Not even at a McDonalds. I frequent Starbucks almost daily and was in town so I stopped by to order my usual. I arrived about the time my mobile order was suppose be ready. No one acknowledged my presence until I spoke up a few minutes after I waited. I know how busy it can get and have waited long before at other Starbucks when they were busy. So I was understanding of the wait time. But not at the fact that no one acknowledged i was there. Maybe it was because I’m Latina or because of bad work ethics or both. I don’t know. I would have been cool and left with my drink even if they didn’t apologize about the wait. But nope. Small blond hair petite barista had to make a snarky remark. Needless to say, heated words were exchanged. I’ve never been disrespected by any establishment until this location. Later the district manager of the area apologized after I called in to make a complaint and offer a gift card that I ended up not bothering to pick up. Ive never thought I would ever write a bad review on my beloved Starbucks but that particular barista behavior was just garbage. I haven’t bother to stop by this location since the incident when I’m in town because that barista prob still works there and I wouldn’t want to risk her doing anything...

First time visiting this location and I was very impressed especially for Guntersville. Better experience than I’ve had at the ones in Huntsville/Madison.

This is a fairly new store and they have tons of seating both inside and outside. I was kind of shocked how many tables they had, you just don’t see Starbucks this size in the area.

I placed a mobile order and they had it ready fairly quickly. All the employees were very friendly. I appreciated the welcome and communication that they were working on my order. They also have a drive thru around of the back of the building.

It’s located off 431 up the mountain from Lake Guntersville. It’s close to the Staples. There’s plenty of parking in a lot out front.
