Wish I could give no stars. We have been with spectrum internet for 14 years used spectrum mobile for 3 years. Went in today to buy a phone waited in line for a while. Then my husband walked up to ask if they had the phone in stock because it was looking like a very long wait. Was told the phones they have in the store are only for new customers not existing customers. If they are not going to help current customers at this store they should place a sign on the door that says that instead of wasting our time waiting in line. Update: we called spectrum when we got home and was told we had to upgrade in the store. Went back into the store and waited in line for around 45 minutes. They called our name we tried explaining we could not upgrade over the phone and the same lady immediately told us no again without even looking up the account. My husband then asked to speak to a store manager. She came back said the store manager had left for the day. So he called back into spectrum letting them know we still were not allowed to upgrade in the store. The lady in the store then says you need to leave since you're on the phone. My husband said no I'm not moving I waited in line like everybody else and I want this handled I don't know if the lady on the phone can even do the upgrade. Then she finally looks up the account after he asked her to and she said why are you even upgrading your phone you already have a iPhone pro max. He said I want another one and that's none of your business. Then she said we had to leave my husband said im not leaving until I get this fixed then she said she was getting the manager. My husband then says I thought he left for the day. The lady then continues being hateful to us while he is on the phone with spectrum customer service. The lady hears her yelling at us and asks what her name was and so my husband asked her name she screams MY NAME IS KATHY WITH A K. So the lady on the phone got her manager to override and allow us to do a over the phone upgrade. Then someone by the name of Reannaon who was really nice and had some great customer service skills came out and tried to fix it and help us but thankfully we had gotten it done over the phone at this point. Spectrum if you know what is good for your business in Guntersville Alabama Kathy with a K needs to go. She has possibly the worst attitude I've ever experienced in my life at a place. She is completely unreasonable and looks close to retirement age so spectrum needs to send her...
Read moreThis was the awfullest experience I've ever had. Most of us stood in line for well over an hour! All I had to do was return some equipment and they made me wait in line when they could have very easily let me return the equipment. It literally took all of 5 minutes. A better solution would be to take the quick customers and get them out of the way because the ones needing phones would have to wait forever anyways. A lot of people left because of their very poor service. The people getting phones were there no less than 45 minutes after they had waited in line for an hour. To top it all off, a Mexican woman with tattoos on her hands was exceptionally rude to me and yelled at me when I asked if I could just leave the equipment there because I needed to get back to work. After all of that, she tried to take the guy behind me in line and didn't believe me when I said I was before him. She asked him and he said yes I was! I'm the peaceful type so I tried to apologize for daring to ask if I could just leave the equipment (mind you this was after an hour of just standing there. ) she was very rude! Terrible terrible customer service! I have my own business and I absolutely would NEVER treat customers this way. If I'm held up with someone that needs more time, I'll ask if they don't mind if i get the quick customers first and I've yet to have anyone say no! They certainly need a much better system if they can't even get someone a new phone before 2 hours!! I understand all the negative reviews as this business is run very shoddy with...

Went in today to do some research about adding cellular service to my internet plan and found the staff to be very knowledgeable and accommodating. In particular, I spoke to a man named Daniel that was without exaggeration, amazing. He gave me quick, precise answers to my questions and helped me in the process of changing my cell phone numbers from my old plan (t- metro, overpriced and technically lacking to my needs) to spectrum with patience, humor, and technical expertise. Metro gave us problems at EVERY TURN in the process. Ngl, Metro seemed very unhelpful and grudging about letting us change my family's three cell plans to a new company while letting us keep our numbers. It took four hours of jump n bump with these people to even get the information needed to do it, but Daniel not only helped me through the process but helped me save money through every customer incentive he could find, including suggesting a tablet because they have a "three lines get one free for a year" customer incentive currently running. This man not only helped me save every penny he could, he multitasking at a point to translate Spanish for the people at the kiosk next to me, without dropping a beat. THIS MAN IS 23. AND HE'S THE EPITOME OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. mic drop 12/10...
