I used to love this place, usually spend $100-$200 or more a month here as I love japanese food. That being said after tonight I will not be back to this location. I have been a foodie my entire life and I have ate at restaurants all over the country and also I've been in the restaurant business almost 20 years now 16 years in management and 3 plus more as a cook and I've never personally seen anything like what happened tonight happen anywhere else. My experience here was an absolute dumpster fire. By far the worst server and service I have ever seen. Like shockingly bad all around. Like the DMV on a busy Monday in the wrong side of town bad. There were 2 other tables besides our own and 2 servers working. Not exactly short handed. Really no justification for said bad service and believe me I tried to play devil's advocate on their behalf, being in the restaurant business I understand bad days happen. When it was brought to the managers attention she didn't care at all, empty excuses and insincere apologies. In the restaurant industry your customers are your life blood, especially your regulars. They are what keep the lights on. Treat them poorly and you will fail. I normally tip 30 percent, tonight for the first time in a very long time they got nothing despite said aweful server trying to humiliate me about it as I left. I left angry and disgusted from A restaurant for the first time in my life. I am no Karen but tonight I wanted to be, really really bad. As I said I will not...
Read moreFood was good, waitress was unfriendly and rude. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch on our anniversary. Our waitress was not friendly to begin with and seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but where she was. We ordered the lunch boxes, pointing to them on the menu. When we got our food, she sat the plates down close enough to us for the grease to pop up and hit us enough for me to have to move to the side to avoid getting burned, which still happened anyways and then walked off without a word, not warning us that the plates were hot, acknowledging my empty drink glass or asking if we needed anything else. She went and sat and played on her phone instead. We ate a little before realizing we still hadn’t gotten our California rolls that come with our meals. After several minutes, she puts her phone down and comes to check on us and we ask her for the California rolls, and that’s when she gets an attitude telling us that we only got the teriyaki plates and not the teriyaki lunch boxes, despite us saying lunch boxes and pointing to them on the menus when we ordered. We were annoyed with her attitude during the exchange, but decided to just shrug it off. That was until she then went and sat back down on her phone and started talking about us to the other waitress where we could clearly hear...
Read moreI attached pictures of the menu and happy hour menu. The food is great not only hibachi but from the kitchen as well. The chefs are great entertainment for any family or get together your planning. They do take reservations and large parties. Whether it's someone's birthday or company it's a great place to go. They do not have draft beer but they do carry a number of different domestic and imported- and they have a great wine selection. They have happy hour monday-friday ( 4:30-7:00) on a selection of sushi and rolls, also drinks ( beer, well drink, and Margarita ). Every hibachi plate comes with a soup (clear or miso) and salad, you choose which meat or combination you would like and it comes with vegetables, fried rice or steamed, and noodles. Alot of food! You won't leave hungry. Also for desert my favorite is the fried Ice cream, it's simply amazing. The dine in section also serves the hibachi food along with a large selection of sushi, shashmi, chef rolls, and my favorite dinners are the chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, and the Japanese crispy chicken. The hibachi grill servers only receive half of the tip and the chef receives the other half so tip...
