I tried to get business cards made- the same cards I’ve had made here a dozen times, with one small change in text. First, they couldn’t pull up any of my previous orders because it has been awhile since I last ordered them. Understandable. I then tried to give them the names of coworkers that I knew also used Staples for their cards, but they could no longer pull up any other Staples stores, only their Guntersville location. They said the best way to do it would be to get a physical card from one of my coworkers and bring it back. I found some of my old cards, so I took them in. The only difference was that I needed a few words changed. The employee said he didn’t know if they could do that or not, which frankly confused me. I told him if they couldn’t, they could just remove said text, but he didn’t know if they would be able do that, either. The person that would know had just left for the day. At this point, I had already made a few trips up there, so he wrote down my name and number and the changes needed and said she would call me in the morning to let me know what they could do and discuss quantity and pricing. I’ve yet to hear from anyone and it’s been over a month....
Read moreI waited for assistance in chairs for several minutes, and no one came to assist despite me asking multiple times to the guy at the tech counter. So I loaded the chair up and went to the check out, and after waiting at customer service for an associate to come up there for several minutes, she came up, and upon scanning told me it was not the listed price. I explained the placard showing the price and pointed directly at it, even though it was a match she declined. So in short, my 33min visit included me waiting and being told the listed price was incorrect for a chair. I don't mind purchasing if it's more expensive but please have the courtesy to take a moment to check the price that was listed and very what item it was for. Because I'll happily pay the correct price. -False Advertisement -Poor Customer Service -Long Wait Times for all services (Customer Service, Printing, Tech Counter, and Passport Services) from what I saw today. I'll do my business at a different store or drive to a different staples an hour...
Read moreWent into staples on Friday morning at 10:00 Feb 23, 2024. Went in to buy a printer. There were 2 customers in the store and one checking out. I had questions about printers to help me make decisions on which one would meet my needs. There were no one on the floor so I go to the cashier who was checking out a customer. I waited until she was finished and asked her was she the only in the store that I needed assistance. She told me the manger was in store somewhere and that she could help me. I went back to the printers and looked around. No one ever came to help me and the cashier that told me she could was standing up front with no one waiting to check out. She never offered to come to help as she said she could. I walked up told her I get same service ordering online and left. This is very poor customer service.
