The New Jersey Naval Museum — Attraction in Hackensack

This place is abandoned. It's so sad that people forget these young men who gave their lives for our country, I mean, can you imagine the suffering of these soldiers before dying inside a sinking submarine? As a son of a veteran, I would like to see the authorities in charge, doing something about this place. I went with my 10 yo daughter and my son, and they were crying. Brought a group of 20 here on 6/20/15 and everyone had a great time. Very interesting exhibits dot the museum, though some have worn information panels (google the stuff first!). But the sub was nothing short of awesome. Our tour guide was informative and engaging, and the Ling looks great inside.
