10/5/2023 still a very bad McDonald’s every time I go it’s a problem the fruit punch always taste like water and I’m starting to have a feeling they know that and they refuse to fix it or they’re doing it on purpose cause they don’t wanna waste their syrup. I don’t know but it happens over three times. I’m starting to suspect something asked for lemonade instead they couldn’t give me. I had to be a soda OK ask for Coke why still taking long to get me a Coke like are you serious so I just drove away I don’t have time for nonsense and petty people .Before you leave this McDonald's check your receipt and make sure your not getting over charged and make sure you have everything you ordered. Staff doesn't seem to be trained properly because i went in there 2 days in a row and didn't noticed on the first day but on the second i was being charged the same from the day before but i had less items. Find out the person that took my order was same person both days and she didn't understand how the 2 for 4$ mix and match worked, and after she was corrected by one of her co-worker she couldn't admit fault and was giving me attitude for no reason when the one who did wrong was her. July 5, 2022 I’m done with this place the worst service ever can’t get the order right the order wasn’t even large it was two happy meals a Mc chicken Mc double and they had me go and wait and they told me that my order was too large. And they still had me wait for a minute before they gave me my order and forgot to give me my drinks. Ever since they put for two lanes so they could work faster it’s the complete opposite I think the problem is the workers they do not know how to talk to the customer they forget that we are customers I’m always checking my food because they always messing up and they’re rushing me to leave why are you rushing me I’m a paying customer. Update 7/24/2022 My wife when today I didn’t tell her not to go to the McDonald’s that was my mistake.. She gave a specific order and they got it wrong on both sandwiches that’s one thing then she got home and realize that they forgot to put french fries on one of her meals. This is what I’m talking about I’m paying for a service and the service there is horrible there’s no point of a second lane if they can’t even keep up like seriously they need to get rid of those workers and Higher competent workers. So Apparently McDonald’s compete with each other so by them competing with each other they seem to always get orders wrong for the customers instead of doing competition between McDonald’s how about you guys main focus is to keep the customer happy and get the order correct!!!!!!!!!! June 10, 2023, 7:30 AM still waiting for my food actually only see five cars parked here and two lanes. They’re still telling me to wait at the next window and they already serve two people behind me why do I always have to wait this long to get food? 611 2024 still the worst McDonald’s that I go to there’s nobody behind me and people are rushing rush and they take your sweet time getting my order on top of that. I didn’t order apple pies. Apple pies never came out of my mouth , my receipt and there’s an order of Apple pies. Do these people don’t understand English . Also, while I’m ordering the ladies quick to switch out the menu to show me what I ordered, and I wasn’t even done with my order which McDonald’s I go to both of them are the worst in Hackensack New Jersey. 8/9/2024 this place is so shady I asked for a plain cheeseburger happy meal what kind of drink lemonade medium I know that it’s extra for the lemonade, but if I said medium for the lemonade, why would you give me large fries to charge me more money? These people get paid based on how much they sell because this is ridiculous and sad, every time I go there’s a problem. I go there for my kids, but now I’m have to drive to a different McDonald’s because I’m tired of dealing with nonsense people. And as these old grouchy ladies, if you’re not happy, don’t work there also why I have a second drive-through if you can’t even keep...

I used to LOVE this McDonald’s but lately not so much. 2 weeks ago, I paid for 6 breakfast sandwiches ( 4 egg McMuffin with cheese and sausage) (2 egg McMuffin with egg, cheese and bacon.) The egg with bacon wasn’t on the 2 for $6 deal so I paid $8 and change. I only got 3 egg McMuffin with sausage and 1 egg and bacon. Total 4 while I paid for 6 Friday 09/22/2023 I paid for 60 spicy nuggets, I only received 50. It’s 10 per box and when I got home I realized I only had 5 boxes. And now they don’t offer sauce anymore for the nuggets Now it’s 2 weeks in a row I pay for something and didn’t get it

Why didn’t I return back to McDonald’s? I reached home and realized it and had no proof it wasn’t there. Why didn’t I check in the restaurant? They packed it up tightly in a bag so it appears like a lot, but it was missing items. This new staff has some issues compared to the past, one more try next week and if I keep paying for items I’m not getting I’m done

Update: 10/06/2023 I ordered 4 happy meals 40 spicy chicken nuggets 1 medium fries 1 ice cream cone As usual, they don’t give me all I pay for. When I got home I realized I didn’t get my medium fries I almost left without my ice cream cone until I pointed it out to the manager

Also, if your collecting the Pokémon cards, don’t come here, they keep giving me the same set number 7

I literally have 7 of the same set now What happened to 1-6?

11/16/24 Don’t go on Saturday evenings It’s ridiculous, wasn’t even that busy around 5:30 PM. Not only did I have to wait 20 minutes for my order for nuggets, I ordered 10 spicy nuggets and got 10 regular nuggets instead. How do you mess up while it’s not that busy at dinner rush time?

11/23/24 Guess they saw my update, this time, they ensured I got my Spicy Nuggets. I’m not a complicated person, I pay for something, I just want what I paid for, this time I got what I wanted.

12/19/2024 Went around 2:30 PM What kind of incompetence works here? The new Sonic 3 promo happy meal came out, I ordered 4, I got 4 of the same Sonic blue! 2 of the happy meal box wasn’t even the Sonic 3 promo box! Just like with the Pokemon happy meals cards, they manage the promotion terribly!

12/20/2024 I complained on McDonalds Facebook page and someone replied they only get 2 boxes per day. Today, I decided to take his advice and ask the employee which “color” did they have today, I wasn’t happy I got 4 Blue. ( don’t mention the characters name, they don’t know). She showed me orange (Shadow) but same Blue Happy meal boxes, no shadow again! If you want different characters, ask what they have in stock. I learned that today.

12/21/2024 Don’t go here if you’re trying to collect the entire Sonic Happy meal promo! Only has 1 and 4. Sonic and shadow regular! They are the WORST when it comes to McDonalds promotions! Same with the Pokemon and Yugioh Happy meal promotions, it’s like the employees take what they want and leave what they don’t like, it literally just launched and they got almost nothing. This is ridiculous!

01/03/2025 I just found out, McDonalds has been closed since before New Year’s Day. A truck crashed into the parking lot. It’s been closed since. Don’t come here for awhile. 01/25/2025 This McDonalds is still CLOSED!!! If you check the McDonald’s App, it shows serving lunch. The McDonald’s app is giving false information. Don’t order from the app at this McDonalds!! Something told me to walk down there to confirm if it’s back or not!

💯 UPDATED June 13, 2022 ~ scroll to end! If you never walk inside, you’d think this is the best new McDonald’s in Hackensack, NJ. They did a great job of updating this recently antiquated McDonald’s. There’s a station to lock your bike outside while dining. There are digital games in 2 tables inside so kids can have fun entertaining themselves while parents get a break.

The down side is the cleanliness. For example, I ordered lunch today through the app and walked in to pick up. That’s normally how I order since there are always deals, so I never pay full price for junk food.

I walked in and IMMEDIATELY noticed, again, how skimpy the staff is at keeping the place clean. There was literally a guy outside the store sweeping but the real dirt is INSIDE.

It was only 11:43 a.m. when I walked in. The seats and tables were littered. Liquids and sticky stuff all over the tables. The seats had discarded papers on them. It’s not even noon and this business doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic; it’s mostly drive thru. So how did almost all the tables get dirty in the few hours they’d been open? Were they even cleaned before closing the night before? I doubt it because this is the same thing I see over and over at this location. And it’s even smaller than it was before.

Previously there were about 16 large tables. Now there are less than 10 so it’s not much to ask that they be wiped down throughout the day. Even if people aren’t eating in, sometimes they sit their drink down before walking out and there’s liquid left on the table. You’re in a dining establishment. How is this not common?

And I’m not talking about tables far from the register. They were in plain view. Couldn’t miss ‘em.

When the guy gave me my order I just had to ask about it. I said, “I really don’t wanna get on your back about this because I don’t know whose responsibility it is and I’m not even dining IN, but don’t you see all the dirty tables and chairs?” He was relatively young but he looked at me with stars in his eyes like I was speaking another language. He repeated back to me, “The tables are dirty?” So I moved to the side so he could look right at what I was seeing. Not the least bit concerned.

The only thing that bugs me about this although I never eat in the restaurant is this. If it doesn’t even phase them that the VISIBLE PARTS OF THE RESTAURANT ARE DIRTY, how are they doing BEHIND the scenes? Do they care there? 🤦🏽‍♀️

Fortunately, I look at it this way. They’re just giving me incentive to eat out less. And again, that’s why I always use the app to get the cheapest price. It’s McDonald’s. We shouldn’t expect much, I guess.
