Hands down the BEST macarons ever!! I discovered Steph’s Macarons when google searching custom macarons near me. I ordered some for pickup for the first time, and they did not disappoint! I was in awe and I knew I had to do a custom order with her. I ordered custom rosette macarons for my sister’s bridal shower and they came out absolutely beautiful! I’ve even ordered her “macawrongs”, and they’re still amazing as ever. I finally made it to one of her pop-up shops and it was just as amazing as I expected. So many cute macarons to choose from and sooo many flavors. And Steph is the sweetest person ever. She’s so easy to work with and super nice in person as well. She even remembered my name from past orders and personalized my macarons with my name at the pop-up shop. Customer service like this is why I adore small businesses. I found out about Steph’s Macarons from her pop-ups at Cupily coffeehouse in Nutley. I had been looking for date ideas as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend, and when I saw that Stephanie did macaron baking classes, I knew it would be perfect!

We were lucky enough to sign up for a class with another couple celebrating a birthday, so the class was small and intimate, with lots of hands-on experience! Stephanie was an excellent instructor and walked us through every step and detail of the macaron baking process. She also provided a printed recipe for us to follow along with as we worked. We chose to make pistachio and strawberry macarons, and we even had the opportunity to create macarons with character designs using Stephanie’s edible markers and royal icing.

While we were waiting for the macarons to bake, she even showed us how to make egg drop soup with the left over egg yolks. It was soo good and a great bonus teaching moment. The macarons turned out even better and more delicious than I imagined! I am so excited to take all of the skills I learned in class and to try it out at home.
