I ordered pizza on a football Sunday…. Worse mistake ever to make. I order three items… cheese stick pizza, peppers and onions pizza and garlic knots. I ordered these items at 6:48…. It was 7:49…. And it still said preparing …. That was an hour …. I finally got up and went to the store. I walk in and see an older Chinese gentleman at the front putting the stickers on boxes. I explained to him I wanted to know where my order was. He didn’t say anything to me until the third time I asked him where was my order. He said I don’t know I am not manager ….. really ??? Of all the answers you could give me that was the one. So I asked him again can I have a real answer. He begins to laugh … yes laugh …. After he began laughing like I told a joke the manger came over. Whom ever he was deserves a medal. He was the only cook and the sticker guy claims he couldn’t help the manager cook …. I get my order finally but sadly I am missing some items….. where’s the sauce and items for garlic knots this is just heated up knots of bread … where’s the red sauce that goes with the pizza sticks ??? This place was not the greatest pre Covid and now it’s just a complete mess… I paid for delivery the manager didn’t know how to change it or give us a tip back. After waiting over an hour for three items. I just wanted the food. Cooperate or some manager of south jersey stores please help this place out. Laughing wasn’t the best customer service choice this man...
Read moreLemme tell the tale of this one star review. If I could give zero stars I'd do it. I called and begin to place an order 45 mins before they closed and I'm not inconsiderate or unaware of how this could aggravate some employees working there so close to closing time. Before I started I asked " are you guys still taking orders for delivery?" To which the lady on the phone answered, " absolutely". I order 2 pizzas and a 2 liter. She suggests a cinnamon pull a part. I'm not in the mode but I add it anyway.
I put it all on my card as i finished the order add the tip. When all is said and done the lady on the phone says it will arrive between 27 and 37 mins. Hanging up the phone it's 9:21pm ...40 mins til close. I live 6 mins away. The person delivering the pizzas will still be done by 10pm.
All seemed well.
20-25 mins later I go on my front porch and begin to wait. Only after waiting until 10:10 roughly 10 mins after the latest time do I start ponder if all is well.....10:20...I call the papa John's back. No answer. Only a message saying they are closed. I think maybe the driver is on his way, going to stop at my place before he goes home. .....10:30 it's been over an hour. Somethings not right...I call corporate customer service to find out they voided my order by 930pm. They took the money from my bank account but now I'll have to wait 2-3 days to...
Read moreGreat experience, this past Monday, My family and I ordered pizza and I took my 11 year old daughter with me to pick it up, As we started to pull away she noticed that the $20 bill had fallen out of her jacket pocket. We turned around and there was already a new car parked in our spot. So we looked around outside and then walked and spoke to a young girl at the counter and an older gentleman behind the counter. I asked them if anyone had mentioned finding a $20 bill and they said they would ask. Now to be honest, I figured it was a LONG shot. But to mine and my daughters amazement the delivery driver who found it stepped right up and turned it over the the manager who handed it to my little girl. I don't know the drivers name but I want to Thank him. That $20 was the last Christmas gift she received from here Mom Mom who passed away a few weeks earlier. My Mother in Law knew she was dying of Cancer and had little time left so she had the cards already made out to all her grand kids for Christmas Great. A++ Papa Johns if these are the type of drivers and employees you hire with this type of integrity I will be a customer for life. I really hope this make it to upper management, they need to know about the good things that happen in the shops, not just the...
