Man, I am pained to write this review because I was so excited to come here, and love supporting locals! 2.5 rounded up because we will return. We came on a Saturday night and put our name down on a waitlist. Originally we were given a 45 min wait time, and were surprisingly called back in ten minutes. Our experience went south from here. The place is extremely crowded and noisy. Service is limited. It took awhile from when we were seated to have our server come. We had to ask for napkins and forks as our food came out and we could not eat it. Our order was not correct with drinks, though I believe this was due to the place being so loud our server could not hear us. This is not a place to go to have a conversation. Tables are also so close together it felt very tight. The bar was about 3 people deep. They have a great tap selection, but it’s not worth the practically non existent service. I have to say, it seems like they have a lot of servers and runners, so I imagine it’s more of a poor set up than not having the people. Food was fine. The wings were a little too spicy. I enjoyed the pretzel. We had the loaded tots. While good, they did not have enough toppings to make them worth the price. I will definitely come back in the summer or spring once the kinks are worked out to give them another try. Hopefully, they will be great!

Their menu is extremely limited. I got wings and a beer. The wings were extremely small and very overcooked. They came out with a large amount of sesame seeds on them. I was shocked that everything gets served on a single paper plate with plastic utensils. You also only get one napkin. I asked for more napkins to wipe my hands bc the wings were greasy and I was brought only one napkin more. The other thing that I felt was odd was that they have open counters in the back of the house which open into the kitchen. All of the food waiting to go out sits on these counters. The strange thing is that the food is about 12inches away from anyone walking by. I went to the bathroom twice while there and both times I was within inches of cooked food waiting to go out. The crowder it gets, the closer you get to the food. The whole vibe threw me off especially compared to the other restaurants along the avenue. Sadly, I was hoping for another pub style restaurant on the Avenue to enjoy, unfortunately, this isn’t it.

We were seated very quickly on the first Sunday the restaurant was open. The food was solid/tasty. The atmosphere was electric based on a great football game on tv and the fact that this was a highly anticipated restaurant opening on its first weekend. Ricky managed her tables like a pro and any issues were resolved in a timely manner considering the full house. There were a few small hiccups that were expected from the first weekend of opening (no napkins, drink menus, or hot sauce and pickles on the chicken sandwich. My husband’s old bay fries were initially missing and we had to wait for our server to correct the issue vs the runner having the autonomy to make the correction). The tots were on point and I loved the wings (pro tip: order them dry and get the sauce on the side. I tried the honey goochang (my favorite) and the miso sauces. The We can’t wait to return when the outside area is opened. All in all it was a great experience and we’re happy that it was worth the wait!

Service tonight was a mess.

We were seated right away, only to sit for 10-15 minutes with no one approaching us (or making eye contact).

I went up to the bar to let them know, and they immediately assumed we sat ourselves. Once I explained that we were seated by the host (two young guys who were obviously disinterested in their job), the bartender let me know he’d grab someone immediately.

5 minutes later, he looked over and asked if someone had helped us. I mouthed no, and he mouthed an annoyed curse word. I appreciated that he followed up…

20 minutes in, and tables seated after us received their drinks and apps.

Finally, Erin came over. She was lovely. We placed our order, and quickly received our drinks.

5 minutes later, a food runner brings us the wrong food. It was another tables. We send it back…

15 minutes later, our food arrived. My 6 year old ordered wings (what 6 year old wants wings, right?). Unfortunately, chicken fingers arrived for him. We sent them back.

10 minutes later, and we hadn’t seen Erin. She was obviously covering inside and outside, so I couldn’t blame her. Who has servers working on opposite sides of the restaurant? I approached the bartender again, because I didn’t know if the food runners knew to refire the wings. They didn’t….

The manager came over, and asked what the problem was. I explained most (but not all) of the above. He told me we should have not seated ourselves. I informed him we hadn’t, and my wife doubles down (nicely) that the host even moved the table and chairs for us, and put the menus on the table.

The manager replied “well someone is lying to me”. Without an apology, he leaves, never to be seen again.

10 minutes later, my sons wings arrive. My food is cold (i ate half…), and his food is to hot to eat. I burn my fingers trying to get the chicken off the bone, to cool faster.

The food was decent. The bartender was nice. Erin was nice. She took the wings off the bill.

I’m hoping no one spit in our food after all of that…

The host stand were terrible. The manager was indignant and borderline rude.

I’m not sure if he believed us or his host stand, but he’s welcome to check the footage on the camera to show that we were seated by his host. August 30th at about 5:15pm…

$100 with tip, and we tipped on the original amount. That was after they took $14 off…

All in all, I’ll probably go back. My kids liked the food and the patio, and my vegetarian wife likes the menu. But...

Since this review I have been back multiple times and some changes have been made for the better ( such as spicy mustard for hot dog 😊)

Nothing better than an owner accepting feedback and not becoming defensive. I believe with this mind set, this place will be very succesful and a long standing part of our community.

Thank you owner and I wish you continued success!

This is my 3rd time here, and I will be coming back. However, I have to say these other reviews seem to be a little inflated. The food is OK, its bar food, not a five star restaurant, lets not get crazy. Speaking of the food...hot dogs and no mustard available? Cch ome on man! Who puts honey mustard on a hot dog? Salt and vinegar potatoes, no salt, no vinegar; I had to ask for salt and vinegar to add myself (maybe use malt or apple cider instead of white). Hot dogs, salty and stale rolls.

Order came out wrong on the 1st and 3rd visit so far. Ordered chips and salsa got guac instead. Ordered a side of mustard got ketchup only to find out they only offer honey mustard. In another visit with a table of 5, we ordered 2 burgers only one came out, waited 20 mins for that to be fixed. Ordered 2 cookies only one came out, the other cookie took another 30 mins (no exaggeration here) im sure if the servers read this our server recalls this debacle.

On the food note, burger and cheesesteaks are amazing!

Service, meh. Based on the above, obviously some issues there. Friendly staff, just seem to congregate in the corner a lot and seem not very knowledgeable of the menu. Again, this could be due to new place (cutting some slack here)

Suggestion: add condiment holders on each table with ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, salt, pepper, malt vinegar, etc. and maybe put utensils and napkins too. Because each time we got these 5+ minutes after food came out.

Great atmosphere, cool vibe. Fun place, I'm sure will be a huge hit in the summer with the outdoor area too. I wish nothing but success!

Some issues, new place, new concept, get it. Hopefully after the initial weeks of being new, the kinks will...

First time, last time.

In short, there are at least 5 bar-type restaurants within walking distance of this place that are better. The place has potential with its location and open air capability, but it’s got a ways to go before it can compete on Haddon Ave.

Positives: New, clean, plenty of TVs, our waitress was good (though, with the exception of “new,” I expect all of these qualities in places I would regularly go).

Negatives: Way too loud. If you want to talk to people at your table, and you actually want them to hear you, go elsewhere.

Poor inventory management. Fuego is a very popular local beer and they were out of it on a Saturday at 6 PM (and the place wasn’t very crowded). Our waitress also indicated this wasn’t a first-time occurrence. There was also no indication of this shortage prior to me trying to order and being told there was none. This led to a hurried, on-the-fly order that turned out to be regrettable.

Inaccurate menu. While the agave roasted brussel sprouts were pretty good, the menu didn’t mention they are topped with cheese. This won’t be an issue for many, but if you’re allergic, lactose intolerant, or just don’t like cheese, welp the menu isn’t any help to you. This oversight indicates a lack of focus on the customer, which seemed to be a theme here.

Below average food. The Buffalo chicken sandwich is not tossed in Buffalo sauce (a relatively small about of sauce is poured on top of the sandwich); sure wish I had know that before ordering. I’m pretty sure I’d beat their tater tots using nothing more than my oven, salt, and a bag of frozen Ore-Ida tots (they weren’t bad, just not restaurant quality).

Hot. I was there in August, but it was an overcast evening with a good breeze, yet most of the windows were closed - had they just been cracked a couple of inches it would have made for good ventilation. There were also no apparent ceiling fans to circulate air. There were a/c vents, but if they were running it was inadequate. By the midpoint of my meal I was sweating (as were...
