Let's start with this mc Donald has one the biggest high order peak demands in the area. It's 24 hours which is open to the public, mobile orders, drive thru and door dashers. I will start with the parking lot definitely a great layout, spacious parking, but just needs a little order during peak times. Lobby, once entering only one kiosk out of 4 was actively working. Plus an add on to the register which was being ran as well. The majority of people entering were a combo of door dashers and the general public some would go to the kiosk, but the kiosk doesn't print out paper numbers and the screen was not up for customers to see their number or name come up. Although numbers were being called out most people don't know their number because it's not provided once an order is complete from the kiosk. Dashers, high volume of dashers waiting for their deliveries. Some delivers were stacked up on a rack and for awhile no one was calling them out. I understand the priority base is the diners and the drive thru, but dashers are customers too. That should be a little more controlled to avoid an overload in the lobby area in the pick up side, also the food pick up for customers that also ordered inside. If this location assigned someone to door dashers and got them out as soon as deliveries were made it will lessen the chaos. Dine in customers, don't have a number, don't see their name on a screen and just hear numbers being shouted out. I don't think staff realize we don't get those numbers on the kiosk. Drive thru, high demand hours many vehicles had to park along side to wait to have their order completed and some even came in to get their missing item. (Which also can be an added on chaos)
Recommendation maybe to shut down this location for dine in purposes around the midnight-3am period. Only allow drive thru and/ or door dash. If customers have to wait for their items they can wait in a parking space and employee brings it out. And or provide a closed window service that customers can go to the window and order and wait for their food in the car. From observation lobby being 24 hours caused stress to the employees resulting in some under cooked food, missed items and fast stressful attitudes from employees.
In one stance the general manager and/or shift lead was a bit snappy, kinda rush fully placing the food on the pick up counter as she's shouting numbers that no one has a clue what the order number is. As that is happening door dashes were coming in. Her attitude was understandable in that instance, but to prevent that it would be better for a resolved solution because some may perceive it as attitude behavior and that's not helping the location nor the company.
During observing their team work, the team worked good under pressure. The person working the window was putting in the orders and sandwich maker was filling the line, although fries was being ran by the general manager or shift lead and she was also bagging orders. Seemed short staff. They ran out of nuggets at one point not enough being cooked. So that delayed many orders, but they smoothly recovered. But for this location it's way too much on the staff from what I observed. No employee should be working under those types of stress, which causes the customers to have a bad experience
General manager or shift did great leading, but she definitely has to work on her tone and attitude during pressure of high volumes. But again I understand the situation. I ordered 40 nuggets and medium fries. Orders were made separately. For nuggets I used kiosk then reminded about the fries. I received the nuggets I was waiting for the fries because I didn't know my number. It was placed on the counter I didn't realize it. I asked the cashier if she can check on my fries she was lost in what I was saying. I spoke up so she can hear me loud and clear. GM said don't talk to her I had to take a step back and explain why I had to elevate my voice the entire time of waiting she couldn't hear me nor understand so I spoke clear so she can understand. The GM had a...
Read moreI tried ordering a 2 cheeseburger meal AKA the #7, and the girl taking the order was very confused (I’m assuming she’s new which is fine, but I’m not surprised she’s not getting the right training from the other girl back there with her…. Keep reading) Said it didn’t exist. Took me 5 minutes to explain it’s right on their menu and I order it often. I pull up to the first window and I told them I had a code and I was greeted with nothing but disrespect from the other girl (not newbie). Tried telling me I can’t use my code unless I say it at the speaker. Sorry ma’am, but did you ever ask for it? You didn’t. Why should I have to make it apparent that I have code? Since when did McDonald’s become so lazy? It never used to be this way. I’ve always given it at the first window. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers with mac sauce and they couldn’t even get that part right, only 1 had Mac sauce and the other didn’t. So not only was my experience unpleasant due to the rudeness of the girl at the first window, they also made my order wrong. I tried calling the store several times and nobody answers. Does anyone work here? When did Hadley McDonald’s become a dumpster fire? Seriously Ronald McDonald, get your c r @ p together. You can’t keep hiring these hooligans off the street and not expect all of these horrible reviews. They speak for themselves and I’m clearly not the only person who’s had this kind...
