Talon Furniture & Mattress — Hotel in Amherst

My wife and I are expecting our first child in September and I wanted to get her something really special for her first mothers day present. I had the idea of getting a rocking chair for her and the baby, so I went to Talon Furniture for help. Robin at Talon Furniture is incredibly knowledgeable about his products and he helped me each step of the way describing the different color stains we could choose from, the woods and grains. The chair was made by the Amish and the quality is impeccable. Knowing that the chair has a warranty through my children's lifetime show's the kind of craftsmanship that was put into it. It is something we hope to hand down through the generations of our family and will have the utmost appreciation for.

I just wanted to say Thank you Robin for making my wife's first Mothers Day a truly special one. She was so happy when the chair was delivered and I was amazed I was able to keep it a secret until then.

Bought our new mattresses here! Highly recommended. I knew they sold furniture, which they do. Some absolutely beautiful pieces. But I was not aware they had a very nice mattress selection. We checked out one of the larger mattress chains, but decided to go with Talon Furniture. It just seems the quality of mattresses were much higher than some of the big name brands. And the prices were on par and in many cases cheaper than the larger stores. Jasper was very patient and took his time with us choosing the right mattress. We also went with an adjustable bed frame. Talon was the best stop we hade made all day in our quest for living room furniture. My girlfriend and I had been to IKEA many times and Alan was quick to show us many options we hadn't even considered. He was quite helpful and ensured a pleasant shopping experience. The nearest IKEA store is 80 miles away! Not only did it beat a long trip to Connecticut, but Talon will save you a ton on shipping if you are looking for multiple items rather then buying them online.
