2025 BEWARE GOLD SCAM AND DIAMOND SCAM DO NOT GO WITH JEWLERY !! BEWARE !!

UPDATE ALERT HANNOUSH HADLEY AND NORTHAMPTON FALSE GOLD TESTING AND FALSE DIAMON TESTING.

I've done a huge amount of buiness with hannoush over time but dont get scammed! This chain is known to scam people with false testing lowball prices and false test redults ! Stay away!

I came into hannoush with a 9.2mm stone that mimicked a diamond so well it passed the digital diamond tester on camera. It passed the associate using the microscope and inspecting the inclusions. Then runs it through another machine to make sure it wasn't lab. Which again the associate on camera showed me it was not lab. He weighs the what he called a natural diamond . The scale and says 3.06 carat which is anywhere between 30-70k+ retail or wholesale...

I bring it to another local dealer who has nothing but his eyes. I told him I brought it to hannoush it passed all the tests. He looked at the diamond handed it back said great fi f but needs to be recut.

I GO TO HANNOUSH 2 WEEKS LATERBEFORE MY SALE IN NYC!!! AND THE SAME ASSOCIATE SCANS THE DIAMOND AND IT FAILS. LOOKS AT IT ONCE WITH A LOOP AND SAYS CZ!! AGAIN ON CAMERA. IT PASSES NONE OF THE TESTS AND MY 30K SALE TURNED INTO ABOSLUTE TRASH.

The associate admitted to not knowing how to use the machine to test for diamond. He gave me false test results and cost me thousand of hours of time.

I hand them a pile of gold diamond ring and old 8k scrap THAT HAS BEEN XFR SCANNED!! I TAKE OUT TWO DIAMOND RINGS AND SAID AS LONG AS I CAN KEEP THE STONE I CAN SELL IT TO YOU THEY AGREED AND WENT TO TAKE THE STONE OUT.

THEY COME BACK AND NONE OF THE GOLD THEY JUST SAID WAS REAL WAS NOT REAL AT ALL. THEY BRING A TRAY OF NITRIC ACID OUT FOR ME TO USE?!?! BECAUSE THATS SAFE RIGHT??? ANYWHO THE SAME TEST SOLUTION I WAS USING AT HOME GAVE ME COMETELY OPPOSITE RESULTS SO I HAD IT XFR SCANNED AGAIN AND READ AGAIN JUST ABOVE 8 CARAT GOLD.

THEY SHOW ME MY DIAMOND RING THAT WAS NOW SNAPPED IN HALF AND COMPLETELY RUINED.

THEY SAID NO THANK YOU WE DONT WANT TO BUY ANYTHING. NOT EVEN THE NOW DESTROYED RING...!!!

YOUR COMPANY CANT TELL DIAMOND FROM CZ AND EVERYONE I SPONE TO... THATS BÈEN IN THIS INDUSTRY LONGER THEN YOU HAVE BEEN IN BUINESS!!!! ALL SAID THE SAME THING...!!!

FRAUDS DO NOT BUY DO NOT SELL AND I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE BBB!!!

Exceptional service, but more importantly, they just treat you right in The Hadley Hannoush. I’ve been using them since Silverscape designs closed. Amy helped me replicate a lost earring from a Silverscapes purchase and I honestly couldn’t tell the difference. I was able to get the same quality and at a reasonable price. I have since bought many pieces from the Hadley Hannoush.

Unfortunately, I bought a gold necklace for a gift at the Hannoush in Holyoke on a Sunday when the Hadley store was not open, and learned the hard way that the Hannoush Holyoke is not owned by the same people in Hadley. I was overcharged in Holyoke on a gold chain that was semi solid and broke three days later. I brought it to Hadley to have it fixed and they were appalled that I was sold a 12 g gold necklace for the same price that a 20 g solid gold necklace would sell for. I was told to take the necklace back to Holyoke and return it. I went back to Holyoke and they refused to take the necklace back. Holyoke did not stand behind their product. Hadley did everything they could to help me get this resolved, and in the end, they took the broken chain and replaced it with a solid gold chain, even though it wasn’t their original purchase. Honestly, in today’s world what business would do that for a customer?! But, Hadley did!! I cannot say enough about how Amy and Albina took care of me and made a horrible situation so much better. I also learned the hard way to do your research. I found my lifelong jeweler, go see Amy or Albina in Hadley, they have morals and will take...

So, I generally don't write reviews unless someone goes above and beyond. I know this review is long but if you're looking for a jewler that cares it's worth the read. I have been going to see Amy at Hannoush for years! I bought my wife's engagement ring there 20 years ago. This year I decided to upgrade the diamond to something you could actually see. Amy designed and made her an unbelievable beautiful diamond ring. Long story, long, a week or two after getting the ring, my wife rode a mechanical bull in a bar on her birthday and the ring got caught on the bulls handle when she fell off. Luckily it didn't rip her finger off. Needless to say, the diamond was gone and nowhere to be found. I called Amy. She felt so bad she tried to find another diamond from one of her own personal rings to replace it. Unfortunately, she didn't have one to fit, so she replaced it with a brand new stone and she charged me nothing! She didn't fix it because I spent thousands of there. She fixed it because she clearly stands behind their craftsmanship and cares about the people they're making jewelry for. Thank you so much Amy!
