Good Local Comfort Food !!! They have 2 types of Fried Chicken if you are into fried chicken; regular fried chicken and garlic fried chicken yummy and there Cesar Salad is awesome. They also have chicken adobo and kadun pika- but when I order it I always ask them to put celery and potatoes. The kadun manok is good but I ask them to put potatoes. What I really like about Linda's is there half order or full order of different selection of fried rice. The pancit is excellent and local desserts are good. I LIKE that they have 2 types of Ice Tea sweetened and unsweetened. My friends order the pork chops and it looks so good but I can't eat it cz I have GOUT... LOL...BUT I CAN LOOK AT IT... :-). The grilled cheese sandwich is also deliciious and of course the other sandwiches are good. There daily selection of lunch specials is great, especially the fried mahi mahi, parrot fish and chop steak... aiyayai I could go on. Mannn I'm getting hungry already... FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD-LOL... Staff is friendly with a smile and they have a juke box- always play my favorite local chamorro songs and our National Anthem Dance song-CHACHA. If you want to experience local food Linda's is the...
Read moreI hate to give this place a bad review so I'll give it 2 stars even though it might only deserve 1. We (and others around us) waited an hour or more for our food. They served us cold dry short ribs and then a super uncooked over easy egg. When we told them it wasn't cooked, the girl helping us had a bad attitude. She was stressed for sure, but we were patient and didn't complain, but she had a super bad attitude towards us. No one checked on us while we stood around waiting. Theyd glance at us, but it was like they were afraid to have to come admit that they let the ball drop on our food. It didn't seem like anyone knew what they were doing. More often than not, all the workers stood around the kitchen window confused about the tickets and which came first. People who came in to order after us got their food first, and sadly we too got our food before people waiting before us, so others waited more than hour. They cooked the same food twice and did just let us have it for free, but im disappointed because Linda's is a Guam staple but my family visiting from the states (and this is the first place we took them to eat) had such a...
Read moreLinda's Coffee Shop is an island favorite to get breakfast, lunch, dinner or a bite to eat that's not fast food. There's a wide variety on the menu to choose from, including a lot of island favorites such as corned beef fried rice, chopped steak and a hamburger that's not bad at all, really. If you come in on a certain weekday, the"special" of the day might be the ever delicious hammocks and mongo beans. So if it's the "special" of the day it's best to come in early. Once they run out, you will miss out until next week . The same goes with their other "special", the oxtail kadu (soup). Since I don't like to cook a lot, nowadays, I chose the kadu which comes with cabbage and potatoes and rice, ofcourse. Off rice? Ask the waitress if you can have more potatoes instead. Most entrees come with finadene and if you don't get it, just ask one of the waitresses. They're really nice and accommodating. Ofcourse, it's not your momma's kadu. But it'll pass as a close second. Not to worry, though. There are many items on the menu that will certainly satisfy your tastebuds. The hard part is making...
