An important word for the workers of this public area. UPKEEP. We can't blame the current pandemic for the state of utilities here. It is obvious from from then faded wall paint and the rusted signs and fence posts that no one has maintained this place is a very long time. From a far or just by looking at a current picture of the building and people would think its a deserted place. Trash everywhere; walls either dirty, moldy, or peeling; stair railings and metal posts rusting and falling apart; bleachers not worth sitting, let alone standing, on. When the pandemic is over, they need some serious make over. How is this a tourist spot? Is this how we want to show people how we live on...

The clean up is still in effect from the super typhoon as is the rest of the island. Definitely making progress and it looks good for what it went through. The beautiful breeze and the backdrop of ocean waves just makes every concern just go away. Covered areas along the walkway for those unexpected rainfalls or a quick picnic. Took some pics with the Lady Liberty and watched the fishermen with their rods waiting for a bite. They were hoping to catch some skip jacks among others. A beautiful day to visit paseo!
