I have two reviews to make, so bear with me.

We went on the American Tanker dive. The crew was extremely helpful and very friendly. We had a great time on our dive and I recommend giving them a try. If I could give the dive iteself 5 stars, I would.

Unfortunately, my entry into the water on our first dive was less than graceful and ended up being closer to a belly flop. My dive mask shattered on impact with the water. Everyone involved with the dive was shocked that my mask had shattered. The captain said that even with a rough entry, my mask shouldn't have shattered like that. I have a few cuts and nicks on my hands and face, and there were a few pieces of glass that I had to get out of my skin. I count myself very lucky that I had no serious injuries. I had bought the mask from Axe about 2 years ago, but I've only used it for about 8 dives. I took the mask into the shop and explained to them what happened. He said that they couldn't do anything to help me because they no longer carry this product. I was disappointed that they were unwilling to do anything to help me especially because I have bought all of my dive gear from them, and this was a product that they sold me. Do not...

I had an incredible experience with Jaime as my scuba dive instructor! Getting more advanced certification is serious business, but he had a way of making everything both fun and informative. He explained complex safety procedures with such ease, adding humor that kept the group engaged while still ensuring we understood the importance of each step.

His patience and enthusiasm made even the most nervous divers feel comfortable. Whether it was cracking a joke to ease pre-dive jitters or demonstrating skills in a way that made us laugh while learning, He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and fun.

Another big plus was the quality of the rental gear Axe Murder offers. Unlike some places that offer only the most basic models, their equipment was in excellent condition and well-maintained. It made a huge difference in comfort and confidence underwater, knowing we were using high-quality gear.

Went into the shop the ask about diving courses, we were told that the next class would be starting the following weekend and that almost no one signs up for the course assuring us there would be room, we then returned a couple of days later to sign up for the class but were told we couldn't as it wasn't in their system, on their assurance that we would be able to sign up we purchased hundreds of dollars worth of diving gear from them, it took over an hour and a half to get outfitted with basic gear because the woman helping us kept leaving to answer the phone, leaving us sitting there, also while sitting there a pressurized bottle inside the shop blew off and they didn't know how to stop it and had to call someone else..very professional. So, after this we returned a few days later to finally sign up for the class so we could get the online work done and they tell us that the class is now full and won't be able to take us, after purchasing their equipment and being assured that we would be able to attend the course. I would recommend going to a different outfit if you are looking to learn to dive, these guys just do not have their stuff together....
