Love this place, and so do the kids. It is the perfect place to stop and get food and snacks for lunch or a picnic. I've been coming here since I was young, and it has always been inviting as well as the people. But here lately, the girls that make the food are so rude. Our most recent experience was coming in last week 25 minutes before the closed to get food. When we walked in, one of the ladies making food shook her head, and the other asked what we wanted. Every time one of my children said they wanted a sloppy Joe, two of the girls were openly aggravated with us and our want for food. 3 rude comments get directed at my children just because they were telling them what they wanted. After that, I understood that this was not the place for us to eat. We made our way to the door, with again 3 grown women talking bad toward us the whole way out. it is a sad world when people at their job hate it so much they talk rudely to children. We enjoy the locust point market for what it is. But the people that work there make it where a lot of people would rather not go.

My First time being here and I love it! Feels homey, the architecture of the building in the middle of the fork really caught my eye. The prices on all the food was top notch, it also includes some convenient store goods as well. I hooked myself up with a "Steamer" with everything on it, and wooo boy! it made this Detroit boy happy. Best 2$ sandwich I've ever had. Love from MI

This is what a real sub looks like. Picture is half of my half, and it’s still that big. Cheap eats done right in Hagerstown. Their pasta salads are delicious, too.

I ordered for the first time today from Locust Point bc I was told that they have good food.

First, there is nowhere on their website that tells you what choices are available to add to your sub and no additional fees (or lack there of) were disclosed.

So, under special instructions (the place available to tell them what you want on it)

I requested fried onions and extra mayo (nothing fancy to add to any cheeseburger sub)

I got a very professional magic marker message on my container stating “We do not have cooked onions. Sorry”…..but THEN, they included uncut, raw onions in a separate container….

WELL….(This doesn’t take a brain 🧠 surgeon to figure out)…

BUT…how EXACTLY did you cook those two cheeseburger subs I paid for then???

Your ridiculous message/lack of customer service was deceptive…

It should have stated,

“ We ACTUALLY DO have onions, 🧅 but I’m too damn lazy to throw them next to your cheeseburger cooking on the grille, and I simply don’t give a shit if you wanted them cooked….While I’m totally aware that this would take a minute to do, while the rest of your order is already cooking, I’m still refusing…BUT… here are some uncooked, uncut onions that you didn’t request and you figure it out. -Locust...

I have loved this place since I was just a little boy! Always will remember my first ham and cheese! While I used to live right down the street as a kid I now live across town. However even though I live as far away as I do, I always have the time and energy to walk to get me a delicious sub and macaroni salad! Their deserts are fantastic and nothing is too expensive! For the quality of food I'm actually surprised it's so cheap! Always greeted by friendly workers! They also sell other convenient things but I never make it that far as their deli has me hooked! Always going back for more!! Convenient if your close! Worth it if your not!! I have walked over an hour and a half before just to get a delicious sub! Again a MUST if your a sub fan! Also the best cheeseburger sub...
