Vibez Lounge — Local services in Hagerstown

As I was standing outside the establishment waiting on the rest of my party, a guy with a Band-Aid across his forehead a cooks apron on, came out to advise us to keep moving. So at the end of the day, we didn't get to even go in the door let alone try the food because we were told that we couldn't come in essentially. Unsure what the man's problem was or why we weren't allowed it to be on the sidewalk in front of the business waiting on the rest of our party, but instead of asking us he was quite rude and just was nasty about making us "move on". I used to take a lot of business there but I guarantee you that I will never get takeout from there again and I would never send business their way anymore! Totally uncalled for especially when we weren't even standing on the side that had the door open to the establishment, we were standing on the side where the door that they don't use was located. Hopefully this will make whoever it was more mindful about what they're saying and how they're treating people before ever asking a question. This is to give this business constructive criticism because we need a black owned business to succeed in Hagerstown. We were there for twenty minutes and was not greeted or drink orders were taken so we walked up to the bar. When I told the bartender that we had waited for twenty minutes, she did us the favor of taking our food order and even took it to the table to us. Our friends were already there and they had a server who was taking care of them but she didn’t even acknowledge us. It’s like we weren’t even there. They also had to wait a long time for the server to take their order. The server was more worried about taking care of the same five people who were ordering shots. Only took care of certain tables and totally disregarded ours. That’s just the service. The food was okay. The egg rolls were so full of oil that it dripped on my jeans. The chicken in the quesadillas was bland and the nachos barely had any meat. But the drinks were strong which is one of the reasons this place gets two stars. I Decided to try Vibez lounge out on DoorDash. I ordered the chicken wing dinner with 2 sides and my fiancée wanted to try the catfish nuggets.

•My mac and cheese was hard! I think it was lowkey microwaved or reheated in the oven but the cheese was literally rock hard on top and since it was a small piece of mac I didn't get to enjoy it much.. it had a leftover taste. My other side was fries that they put in a different container (which I appreciate!! They seasoned them to perfection.) i also received a piece of cornbread with my food that I wasn't expecting to get so I appreciate it! I got my wings well done so I'm not going to fault them for lowkey burning them but my advice would be to put a little less time on the well done wing option so the breading of the chicken isn't tasting burnt! But I loved how seasoned the chicken was.

•My fiancée didn't like the catfish nuggets, he felt like the catfish lacked flavor! he said "It tasted like frozen pieces of watery fish tossed in breading and fried it".

We were hopeful but the food didn't really hit the mark this time, we'll probably return to try...
