Ok, usually I do not rail against businesses, but I had such a bad experience there, and I'm definitely going out of my way to support a franchisee that is honest and treats a customer fairly and with respect. I know customer service employees deal with a lot of BS, but when there is a legit concern about how much money you're taking from me, surely I deserve a legit answer. I had an issue with the way I was charged so I went back around to ask why that was. He could not answer me, yet he was treating me like a child from the beginning, but the math did not add up. 2+2 does not equal 5. He told me he'd fix it. He refunded it, and charged me the same exact amount and said it was fixed. At this point, it was definitely a matter of principle. He was so smug and demeaning from the beginning. I would probably have let it go, but I went back around again. I could hear them laughing about it. That definitely made me angry that they'd take my money but couldn't justify to why they took what they did. There were hardly any customers there, so there was no excuse for lying to me and brushing me off. In the end, nothing was resolved and I had to go.
Now, this is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this location. I don't like to judge a place by the crappiness of one employee, but this whole store is a big no thank you for me from today. Read moreCustomer service at this location was absolute garbage. I ordered an iced mocha cappuccino tonight at the drive thru, the exact same drink I have been ordering at NUMEROUS other Dunkin locations for literally years. I received some sort of frozen slushie type drink. I called the store within about 15 minutes of leaving, telling her I did not receive what I ordered. I was informed that I was in fact given what I ordered. I told her again, no i wasn't and again said that the iced cappuccinos are liquid served over ice and again explained that i was given some sort of frozen drink. She rudely said that that's how they make them there and that every person who orders one there expects a frozen drink, like the one i received. I told her that if they are not going to stick to the standard, then they should make sure they tell everyone that theirs are made differently than how every other location makes theirs so that people are aware and don't end up with something they don't want/like. She basically tried telling me that I was wrong, she was right and never once apologized or offered for me to bring it back to exchange it for the correct drink. I will definitely never stop at this dunkin again as apparently they just make up the drink recipes as they go, so you never know what you'll actually end up with, but whether you like it or not, you're stuck with it. I would usually stop here on my way to work, but now I’ve started to see a decline and today was the straw that broke the camels back. I placed a mobile order and pull through to the mobile order lane. I was greeted by such confusion .. after verifying my order, two additional people came to the window - one to give me my food order and the other my drink order. Both of them seemed so confused as if my order was not my order after verifying my order name and number. My food was poorly prepared - looked very rushed! My drink cup was wet and slimy. I had to proceed to wipe it off after it was rudely shoved in my hand. After wiping it down, one of the workers returned and questioned me rudely again “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?” I was in complete disbelief because I had not been handled with such hostility before at Dunkin Donuts. I understand everyone has bad mornings but it should affect the level of customer service that is granted to customers. I will not be back. That is the last $16 they will ever receive from me.
