I had a terrible experience at this location this evening, it is not my usual stop as our Papa Murphy's is in a different area. I typically do not use my cell phone in food/retail as I believe it is rude but tonight I happened to be on it. I walked in and asked which register to order at and with a snide comment a blonde employee behind the counter said, "where it says order here". As I received my pizza I had told her with the other two employees standing there, "the next time someone asks you which registered to order at, all you need to do is point or say which one to go to."
Well she did not like that I repremended her on her customer service and continued with saying, "if you have a complaint you can make it on the information that is on your receipt", which by the way I never received, conveniently... If you are going to tell me to make a complaint because you can't handle someone telling you to talk kinder next time well this is what you are going to get.
The employees you carry are a direct reflection of the business!
I asked for her name and she refused to reveal it, nor would she allow any of the other employees to give me her name, she just continued with replying, "you can make a complaint you don't need my name." I then asked for their manager which I was told he stepped out, so I drove around back and found him and asked for her name which he said was, "Jeanette". The manager was young and thought she meant no harm but I've been in customer service for over 25 years, she in no way needed to respond the way she did to an innocent question. Not everyone is looking up for a sign the minute they walk into an unfamiliar setting.
Jeanette here is my advice to you, you don't know what anybody goes through at any point of their day. If you are going to be in a customer service position whether it is retail, food industry, bar or restaurant or any position that is customer service related you need to have a positive attitude! You should not be in that type of business if you can not control your composure, your words, or your attitude. When someone asks you what register the next time I hope you consider answering with kindness and not a demeaning smartalec remark/comment. If you can not respond kindly then remove yourself from the job where people look to be treated with respect and with a smile. Those customers coming in are keeping you employed. I'm sure anyone right now not working would love to be earning a paycheck. Your terrible service would keep me from returning or advising anyone I know to visit the Hales Corners location, that is the damage you bestow upon your store. I would Keep that in mind for your...
Read moreI had went into this location last Tuesday about 25 minutes before closing and was turned away due to them being “online orders only.” This Tuesday I ordered online at 4pm (closing is at 7). I entered the store at the time my order was to be ready (30 minutes) and checked the rack and my pizzas were not there. Immediately an employee (assuming the one in charge) yelled at me I had to order online. I explained I already did, and she proceeded to yell I needed to pay online too. I again stated I already did. She then asked my name and found my 2 pizzas were still being made. Once finished I was handed my order and I immediately noticed there were onions on the pizza that I had ordered without onions. I mentioned it to the guy who handed me the ordered and he told me there wasn’t onions on it. I pointed out there were and the woman who yelled at me before asked what the problem was. He told her I didn’t want onions and she told me that’s how I ordered it. I told her it wasn’t and repeated what it was supposed to be. She had someone remake the pizza and never apologized or anything. Before leaving a man walked in and he was allowed to order in the store, so again not sure why I keep being told online only?? Overall it was a bad experience. The store was dirty, staff unorganized, poor customer service, and the woman in charge (short black lady) needs training in customer service and management. There were 5-6 people working so short staffed...
Read moreOne of the Team members, Mike! Never gives me a warm greeting, it’s more like a hurry up and get your order so I can be done with you type of greeting. His tone is always low and sounds like he is annoyed by my presence. He also skimps on my toppings which other locations never does! I would go there more if I knew I would have a better experience, just thinking of that guy makes me dread going there! He gets mad when I ask him to make my salad, but I’m a vegetarian and the salads they have put out usually has meat in them already! I would not recommend this location but I do recommend papa Murphy’s in general! I hope they get someone better...
