Alpresso Coffee — Restaurant in Half Moon Bay

I ordered a double shot of espresso from here, my drink was out within 30 seconds which greatly surprised me. However I had been watching the espresso machine through the window the entire time, and the barista working never pulled a single shot. I'm not entirely sure where she got her shots from, but they were obviously old. I was very disappointed. As a barista who works at a true Italian coffee house, I know that after a shot sits for more than 30 seconds after it was pulled, it losses most of its flavor and crema and becomes much more bitter. Stopped through here for coffee on a trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. This was the single greatest coffee I ever had in my entire life. It became the standard by which all other coffee will be judged for the rest of me and my wife's lives. And I know in my heart that it will never be matched nor surpassed. I have almost an amazing experience everytime i go there. But unfortunately today was disappointing and I’m not sure ill be coming back. I ordered my usual and it came out so sweet that I couldn’t drink it. I called for a refund, the lady on the phone says ok, hangs up. Thats it.
