Kosher Bagel Cove — Restaurant in Hallandale Beach

This is the worst place, There is a guy probably in his 40s or 50s working at the cash register With very light colored eyes, I didn’t get his name because he doesn’t have a name tag. Anyways, I was there to pick up an order and he just happened to be the most rudest person I’ve encountered. He got mad when I told him don’t touch my phone because he’s wearing gloves with food particles, and sauces, I could confirm the order without him touching my phone. Maybe if he had some manners, he would have let me confirm the order without touching my phone which I clearly showed him what the order was. He decided to keep running his mouth about him, not touching my phone, At this point, I was annoyed by the fact that you were trying to prove your point when you should just be quiet hand me the order because it was confirmed as picked up go back to doing your job and get paid minimum wage to nothing. But I was not as rude as him so I told him nothing. I understand you may have a bad day, but that does not make it right to take it out on someone else take it out on the person that...

Listen. The food here is DELICIOUS. But the staff, ruins it all. Not so expensive for a basic breakfast. But, no options for different milk choices for coffee (which a normal restaurant/bakery would have). Also, you order one thing and another comes sometimes, but it’s okay cause it’s still delicious. The staff is absolutely horrible. You’ll ask for avocado and ask if it’s an up charge and they say no, and then a $3 charge comes up on the bill afterwards. I ordered an iced coffee and it was practically milk with a splash of coffee. I ordered a sesame bagel toasted with jalapeño cream cheese and it was a non toasted bagel with regular cream cheese. I ordered a side salad and home fries, neither came. Asked about 4 times and our meal was already finished. On our way out the server said she’ll get it for us to go, which at that point was too late. Such a shame. Really a shame. I used to love this restaurant. Major chilul Hashem as well, when non Jews come in and decide to dine and they ALSO had major issues...

This is our 2nd time here in 2 years, in this 1 place. I'd like to give this place 2 stars out of 1. I'm so amazed here! From the quality of food, to the service! As an example, my wife ordered an Iced coffee, and they made her a hot coffee, and as my wife was about to pay, she realized she's being charged only half the price of an Iced coffee, so she clarified that she asked for Iced and wanted to pay the right amount. They decided to add a cup of ice on the side free of charge instead. Then there was the eggs and potatoes, so incredible, when we asked for salt and pepper to be added, they directed us to the side where we were add our own salt and pepper to our food, instead of cooking it together with the food, incredible ! They even have self service milk (marinated with flies)and sugar on the side to add to your coffee, Wonderful! I absolutely loved our carrot muffin as well, they definitely don't cheap out on the carrots ;) I hope everyone can support...
