Read moreWe had a lovely visit to Mitch’s Bagel Ca We found this cute spot while searching on Yelp. We expected it to be very crowded especially for late morning on a weekend but it wasn’t. You order and pay at the counter and the food is brought out to you. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel and by boyfriend the BECTA. We sat outside and the food was brought out to us relatively quickly. We were also given French toast bites to try. The outside was slightly sweet and crispy, the insides soft, I liked them as is but my boyfriend liked dipping them in the provided syrup. The breakfast sandwiches were hearty, bagels soft. We enjoyed them, I could only eat half of my sandwich and saved the rest for later. The staff were very friendly and checked on us several times on the quality of our meals. Our only issue with this restaurant is the high cost of a breakfast sandwich. I understand the location but paying $14-16 for a breakfast sandwich is not something I do often. Overall, we did enjoy our meal here, I liked that the staff checked in on us while we were eating, you usually don’t get that at this type of restaurant and I enjoyed my leftover sandwich a few...
Read moreMy friends and I randomly found this place while on vacation. We were just looking for a breakfast place that had a little of everything because everyone in our group (6 of us) wanted something.
Mitch's bagels is street level of a new complex off of Route 1 in between Hallandale Beach and Hollywood. The business has only been open since April of 2024 (according to website) and you can tell. Everyone was incredibly polite... Naomi was patient as we all ordered. She answered everything with a please and thank you.
We sat down and they brought our food to us. We couldn't believe the portion sizes. Big doesn't describe it all. The pancakes were unbelievable. The French toast... tasty and gigantic. The omelets looked and were incredible. The home fries, perfectly cooked. And the bagel sandwiches... wow. We recommend the Hangover#2 on a plain bagel. The prices are a little high, but the portion sizes make up for it. Pro tip: Split almost everything.
The manager/owner stopped by to ask how everything was several times, which left an impression. The food, the service and the vibe left us full, happy and planning a return before heading home. You have to try...
