My mobile order was placed at 12:30. I arrived in the drive thru at 12:40. At the speaker I was told to “wait a minute” and then waited at least 3 minutes for the employee to come back to assist us. I was told at the drive thru speaker to “call your customer and tell them we are out of most things and are about to close”. After this, I was told at least 10 times that they were about to close. No compensation was offered for the items they were out of and no apologizes were offered either. At the drive thru window, I was told it would be a minute and was then asked if I would be okay with getting spicy nuggets instead of regular so they didn’t have to make any regular nuggets. I requested to have regular nuggets made as this is what I ordered. I then waited at the drive thru window until 1 am while the staff inside closed down the restaurant and complained about me being in their drive thru the whole time, which was able to be heard very clearly through the half open window. After I was told to wait a minute, nobody else acknowledged me until who i’m assuming was a manager came in and said “we will not be closing the restaurant while there are cars in this drive thru”. After this, all the employees got back to making our food and we received it shortly after. When the original employee from the speaker handed me the food, she told me they didn’t have any ranch but she gave us some of every single condiment they had. She then shut the window before I could tell her she was missing the drink they actually had. I was missing a baked potato, small chocolate frosty, and a cookie. I was given 3 burgers (2 of which we never ordered and none of them were made as ordered), 2 fries, 10 piece nugget, 4 piece spicy nuggets, and a Dr Pepper. Most of this was never ordered. Overall, this is the worst experience I have ever had in a drive thru in my life and I will never return to this location. This was the worst customer service I have ever had and the rudest employee I have ever encountered. I suggest you retrain your employees to show a little common courtesy if you want this location to stay...
Read moreThere was a gentleman who first came on the speaker and asked us to wait. I said no problem we are still deciding (my mother and younger brother). He comes back on and I say we are still deciding, but I asked if he knew the lights were out on the menu. An older woman’s voice comes over the speaker and rudely and quite loudly states, “Yeah, we know. We have to wait on the electrician until tomorrow”. Then the gentleman comes back on and I order one 4 for $4 for my brother and the gentleman asks what for the drink. I have to ask my brother again what he wants and the same older woman YELLS over the speaker “What to drink with that?!” Which I found EXTREMELY rude. There was one car in front of us that had already gotten their food and no one behind us. I then order a 4 for $4 for my mother and I to share.
I might be able to understand her hostility IF it were busy, but when we pulled into the parking lot originally there was one family eating, one leaving, and maybe a couple ordering at the counter. Her rudeness was uncalled for. It’s fastfood... We could have gone anywhere, but we chose Wendy’s and probably won’t do so again any time soon. If you don’t have the patience for customer service, maybe you shouldn’t work at a restaurant of any type.
When we pulled up to the window, the gentleman continued to be nice and I saw who I THINK was the woman yelling over the speaker. She was shorter, heavier set, with grey hair pulled back and bangs cut straight across and had a headset on. The name on the receipt says Stephanie, but I do not know if that was her name. Again, the gentleman that was on the speaker getting spoken over top of was very nice the entire time. An attitude like we received from the older woman makes us not want...

When I get to the menu/speaker to order, there's a sign stating they are short-handed for the evening. I'm very empathetic to these situations, especially in the service industry. I've been there and done that. The associate taking my order was polite and didn't sound overwhelmed. This demeanor continued through my entire exchange with the restaurant.
It wasn't until I got home with the food and bite into the burger (same with my wife's) that the issue arose. The meat for the burgers had apparently been cooked and left out for a long time. The meat was dry, bone dry, giving it a much different texture (crumbly) and a weird flavor. It was not edible. To go back out late to get more food or call and make a fuss on a night when the team was already under pressure seemed like a possible tipping point. Before leaving the drive thru, I told the associate that it might feel like no one noticed his hard work today but to keep it up. It was to be commended to be there with a good attitude, and if he does, then in time, his work will be recognized.
Hopefully, this concern is something that was noticed and addressed before this review. If not, then my hope is that this be a reminder that great customer service can't be the only thing that's good. Even when you're short staffed, it's equally important to maintain quality in food, cleanliness, and how customers...
