McDonald's — Restaurant in Hamden

So I have ordered from McDonald’s many times and there are some good people there. But several times I ordered delivery and pick up and they have not given me my whole order or it’s cold. Today I sent my friend to pick up my order which I have done plenty of times and there manager refused to let him get it. I don’t have transportation that’s why I ask him to pick it up. There is no rule on their app that says someone else cannot pick up the order. He had the copy of my order so I made a complaint I guess their store manager called me and got snotty with me and told me that from now on that’s the rule. Don’t get me wrong I understand some people are scumbags and try to get a free meal but I’m not one they could at least said listen we aren’t giving anyone their food without the app order but since you didn’t know here. No they were rude and so was the store manager. So I ended having to go with my friend and wouldn’t you know they didn’t even ask me for proof of purchase. When I called corporate I was told some managers do what they want. I worked at McDonalds for almost ten years and never treated our customers like this. I would of been fired if I treated customers like this. I spend a lot of money in that store due to my work hours I don’t deserve to be treated like that. On top of that you try to call me up and start with me smh. I am still talking to corporate and I’m going to call again because all he did was give me his name...

I just ordered double quarter pounder no mayo with cheese and a large fry ordered, got 2 mcchickens, both had mayo and no fries.

Listen I work in food too, GM if your night shift hate working there or got some other issues, cool, but then fire them or tell them to find a job at the other numerous stores around, instead of keep making it our problems as the customer when they tired or just don't care about doing their job right.

I don't even write reviews cause I don't really think most places care, even if they see the reviews but this one was SO ridiculous I had to at least say SOMETHING, i don't know if the GM even reads these things but ey, this was just too much, I'm gonna reorder online right after this and if it isn't right I'm going to post again so other people know to avoid the dixwell McDonald's on both review pages at night (maybe y'all need the rest), but this just isn't cool, idk if it was this one or the next dixwell but whichever you've gotta check your night crew team cause obviously some really don't want the job or they are rushing way too much and not focused on task at hand, either way, I was grossly underserved for the money I spent, I got half the food (could have at least put a few more Sandwiches and a fry to match the price of the order,...

I spent 35 the other day. First j ordered a plain sandwich which was absolutely smothered in sauce which I specified I didn't want. 2nd I get home and they forgot the 10 piece nuggets I ordered for my daughter. So I have to drive all the way back and tell them they gave me bbq sauce but no nuggets. 3rd by the time I got home my fries were ice cold.4th once I got home and settled in I went to open my sandwich and that's when I realized all the sauce and wouldn't eat it and I already went back once I wasn't going back again. 5th I ordered 2 of those medium strawberry watermelon slushies and they were only filled 80% of the way. I feel ripped off. So I spent 35 dollars for 3 people and I didn't even get to eat that night. EVERY TIME they forget something and it's really irritating and I let it go a dozen times but now I'm leaving this review so others know to pull over and check your order first because this is such a common problem. Only plus side was my sprite had ice. Well more ice than sprite but atleast...
