LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

When u have four children, nice meals don’t happen very often. And for us, the cost of a family of 6 at a place like this is a treat. Maybe once, twice a year. The first time I came to this longhorn I loved it. This time however, not nearly as much. It took a while to be seated. Then when we were seated, it took awhile to order. And we went early...around 4pm to avoid this. I was hoping they’d bring bread to our table to help keep the kiddos calm and occupied, but I had to ask eventually when I looked around and saw other ppl with bread. Then when my 6yr old daughter got her chocolate milk, she made a terrible face. She said “mommy that’s not chocolate. It’s yucky!!” I was like “give me that” and I tasted it expecting her to be being dramatic. Omg she wasn’t!! I don’t know what they mixed with chocolate syrup...but it was NOT milk. It left the worst taste in my mouth, turned my stomach, and ruined the rest of my meal. Then when we explained to the waiter he tried to convince us it actually was chocolate milk. Listen if that was chocolate milk I’m Donald trump. Why would I lie? And my kid? All we wanted was a water instead. My mashed potatoes were not good at all, neither was the asparagus I had to pay almost $5 extra for. Over all, I wasn’t impressed. And for the cost, I feel I should have been. It was kind...

We have had better experiences here but this time the girls in the front (host) were not very pleasant. Their faces said it all! They took us to a booth but we asked for a table and she said they were busy and reserved . Right in front of us their were 3 empty tables plus going to the bathroom an additional four tables empty. She Said if we wanted a table we needed to wait in the lobby an additional 30 minutes!! But the place wasn't busy!! We then asked our waitress to see If we can get a table but she had to ask the host. She seamed a little nervous then my husband said if she says No I would like to speak to the manager. (because we saw so many tables empty) After a few minutes our waitress moved us to a table Right in front of us. This guy (worker) Came out of no where's and said you are not suppose to change seats and move to a table! Did you move on your own or did Someone tell you Its ok to take this table!? He was loud several people staired at us it was very uncalled for. We will not be going back!! We will not be going back to a place that they are "selective" on who they want to...

I called Saturday morning at 11 am and spoke with a hostess. I wanted to make reservations for 12 because we celebrating my husband grandfather 101 birthday the young lady I spoke with told me that they don’t do reservations and to call back at 4pm to speak with someone so that they can start setting up. I asked if she needed my name she reassured me that they didn’t. I called back at 4pm lady ask how many was in my party I told 12 and we will all be arriving at 5pm she told me okay see you than. I arrived with my party 12 and waited 30 minutes for them to seat us. They than took our beverages order after the beverages where place they took our meal order it is now 6:10pm we didn’t get to eat to almost 8pm not only was the wait for our meal the birthday boy order a steak that not even I can chew. Another person steak was under cook the asparagus was mushy and the fries were salty and cold. I won’t return but for the future reservation for a party of 10 or more should be allowed.
