the employees are usually nice but the management and owner and his kid leave a lot to be desired ( tall thin kid of owner or manager) doesn't listen more times than not.....they never check with dine in customers before dumping dark roast coffee even if you tell them or ask them to let you know.... for some reason the get rid of dark hour to hour and half before closing and keep tooty fruity flavored coffees like holiday blends and pumpkin and vanilla hazelnut, meanwhile most of times I am The only customer at Mays landing or egg harbor township (both owned by same family)and only drink dark roast and they both get rid of dark roast first long before closing and never ask before doing it...... As far as store conditions most times of year it's way to hot in the Mays landing store and you sweat......when only in a t shirt. PS, FYI when Manhattan bagels responds to reviews and wants follow up the egg harbor township store is not listed as a store option......are you supposed to file it under...
Read moreHours say they open at 7am. I arrived on the 5th of Ocgtober and got there at 0710, lights were off, door was open. I walked in and the man behind the counter said that the bagels werenât delivered yet and I could get a cup of coffee. Heres the thing, I am the most laid back person that doesnât let this stuff get to me but I feel that over the past few years customer service has been going to the wayside. My wife owns a business, works late, and I know how these situations are supposed to be handled. Needless to say, I should have gone with my gut and gone to hot bagels in Northfield, which I...
Read moreCame in before my family went to the beach. I get the same thing every time at Manhattan Bagel: A garlic bagel with cream cheese, avocado, sunny side up egg, and Swiss cheese. I've gone here for years and l've never gotten a different order. I told the cashier my order and I had to correct her not once, not twice, but three times. Each of which she asked the same questions that I already answered. We spent 40 dollars, waited 20 minutes, and we left! When I opened my bagel, no cream cheese. I walked in and asked for a side of cream cheese because I asked for it 3 times and the manager/owner started arguing with me. I told him I asked for cream cheese and the girl kept messing up my order, 3 times! He argued with me for a couple minutes then asked me for 80 cents for the cream cheese. I said no and walked out. My father went back in and argued with him, we got our 80 cent cream cheese! Btw.. totally not worth it. The food was...
