I haven't been in Best Buy for 6 years.While I was in that shopping center... I thought that I would stop in for a minute because I had a problem with my cell phone, and I thought the Geek Squad might know something. Previously, I spoke with those who insured my phone, and they told me that my phone was virused and that I probably needed a new phone. The problem started with the "C" port in my S21 5G.Ultra would not charge anymore. Consequently, they gave me an estimate of $100 or more for the "C" and gosh forbid if I needed a new phone... right? When I walked up to The Geek Squad, I told him essentially what I just wrote. His reply was, "Can I look at your cell phone for just a moment?" He brought the phone back and plugged it in, and now it was charging ! I asked him what he did, and he told me that he had just cleaned the port out of some minor debris in it. Miguel checked for another thing that was unrelated. The kindness that Miguel extended made my day and I can't thank him enough as I was ready to possibly put out a hundred bucks or more on something that I didn't need and that my insurance company was trying to sell me. So, my shout-out a thank you to Miguel on The Geek Squad. Now , I was in the mood to spend money... and I bought a Gorilla phone case for my phone that was now working perfectly. Since there was so much new stuff, I just wandered through the store, checking it out. I am amazed at the profusion of new technology that has evolved and made its way into stores. I would recommend anyone to go to Best Buy and make purchases, especially because their Geek Squad who don't seem to be greedy about making money when it's not warranted and who are hospitable too. I've done a lot of reviews, and I've enjoyed everything about it. I'm not an expert about prices... but I do Google... but I must say that it is a thrill sitting in front of an 8K TV set 6 or 7 ft across... talk about larger than life!! There's lots of amazing merchandise that were science fiction dreams less than a lifetime ago that can now be bought readily... in various styles to suit your taste and from countries worldwide. It's sweet to see how creative, industrious, and people with serious intentions have produced for whatever and anything we might want is amazingly available for your communication system, visual, audio, telephone laptop, and you name the brand and it's probably there... and if you fancy luxury in a washer, dryer, or anything to cook your food in... it's excellent exercise and an eyeful just touring through, and for me, it was actually exciting to see how imaginations had gone wild on cooking merchandise... seeing how creators of serious intentions manufactured But most impressive to me was how ethical and good-natured my experience was with Miguel compared to my phone company's insurance company, which tried to sell me more when I didn't need it. Actually, everyone was very helpful in this Best Buy... whenever I asked for help, their salespeople directed me exactly where I needed to go... I saved 12 bucks on the Otter carrying case for my phone. Furthermore, everybody seems to have a good attitude in that store in every department, and I felt like if I had a problem with any product that they would fix it without aggravation. Read moreWe bought a fridge the end of March with the promise of installation of it including the water line for the ice maker, delivery scheduled for May 1st. The delivery drivers told us they were not plumbers and would not connect the water line (there was a preexisting line so they only had to swap it out for the new one we purchased). They said we had to hire an actual plumber. We went back to BB to talk to the associate who sold us the fridge and she and her manager both told us they WERE supposed to connect it, and that's when we found out they lied about completing the job in their paperwork instead of reporting the issue with the line. We went back home to take pictures, then back to BB, and ended up making another appt the following Tuesday to have it installed correctly. After going back home the 2nd time from BB, we found out from our association's security guard (who came knocking on our door), that the delivery team left ALL the trash: styrofoam, cardboard boxes, ties, etc, on the stairs by the front of our building and behind our neighbors car. (We used the back so we didn't initially see this). We collected all the trash and took it to BB where we dropped it off with the manager. I'm not sure why all the trash did not fit in the 24 foot truck they came in or why it was my responsibility to clean up their mess. I called the corporate number to report the incident and was told it would be escalated and someone would get back to me within a few days.
Fast forwarding to Tuesday's retry: a team came in a similar delivery truck, which drew up a red flag for me. The one guy attempted to install the water line and then told us he could not complete it because he was not a plumber and we were told for the second time to hire one. My husband ultimately installed it, after fixing the mess the 2nd guy made. I have called numerous times in the past 2 months and have been repeatedly told that the case is still open and a new request for a call back would be made. There is no way to speak to someone otherwise. I am sick to my stomach over this experience, it was one of the most stressful days I have ever had. I cannot believe with the extreme bull that went on with this delivery, BB has not made any efforts to return my calls or address...
Read moreOn December 3 I ordered a VR PlayStation bundle they did not have it in the store so I ordered it online with an associates help in store very discouraged it’s now December 20 I have had no notification that the product that I ordered on line has been canceled I called customer service they’re not very much help at all I will say that Troy in customer service is phenomenal after speaking with four different agents he was the most helpful and definitely deserves to be promoted now Mark and Mike the managers and supervisors of the maze landing store when I called to ask can you hold one for me because I have children I have to pack up and drive 20 miles to come get the product can you hold one for me I asked Zak a customer service associate at the store he said hold on I will get one of my supervisors or managers which are Mark and Mike well they proceeded to tell Zak that they did not have any time to talk to me and they cannot hold one PlayStation VR . Never in my life have I heard of a manager or supervisor not being able to get on the phone to speak with an aggravated angry customer I think they get paid well enough to answer phone calls I had no problem waiting 15 2030 minutes but I’m so furious that I wanted to speak to a supervisor to put one aside so I don’t waste my time and gas like I did on December 3 to come out there and purchase a product that I’ve never received so with that being said I will never use the store again and I will be shredding my Best Buy credit card it’s about 50 million pieces I still have not had a call from a supervisor that I requested at least three times . It’s very disappointing service especially during the holidays when you have kids and you order something in the beginning of December and now you do not have it in your hand for Christmas as of yet nor are you guaranteed to get it because you have to go to the store and hope that they didn’t sell out because they can’t put one aside for me common courtesy and customer service unfortunately Mark or Mike have none I...
