Hamilton's Urban Backyard — Restaurant in Hamilton

Went once and thought it was great. Had a great conversation with the bartender about beers and the location which turned into how much she loved dogs, specially corgis “I was wearing a corgi dog t shirt and I made the comment “darn we left ours at home and we would love to bring them next time” and no response whatsoever from the bartender or “one of the owners” that was sitting at the bar… I couldn’t of been anymore louder on my dog comments. None of the people working said anything about dogs (yes I yes understand follow a website) but when someone says they want to see your dogs or course you want to bring them by.

Then I show up 3 weeks later, bring my dogs (thought I was allowed from my original encounter)…. Owner (who was mentioned above, that never once said dogs weren’t allowed allowed came out and said dogs aren’t allowed. Questioned him saying you never said dogs weren’t allowed, said he didn’t know what I was talking so we got our food, left and haven’t looked back sense…. Plenty of other places that allow dogs, better selection with...

Very nice ambiance, however. The measure of a business can be defined by who they decide to work with, and I have never once had a good experience with the roll on in in hamilton. This time, the sushi chain's food truck (located in the urban backyard) was out of soy sauce; that's like a place that sells fries being out of ketchup. I was not informed of this before I ordered, (have had the same experience with the restaurant before) which meant i had to drive my food home to have the sauce. I don't blame the people who work there because I'm sure a big part of their income is subsidized in tips but it did feel like I threw away $14 because the deep-fried portions were soggy by the time I got home and I did not get to enjoy the atmosphere, which I was looking forward to. I'll be back again if the second food truck they have there is open, but I have never once seen it open. Very...

This was a really cool place to visit! There were food trucks and live music! The food truck I ate from had incredible food. I saw some people playing cornhole as well.

This seems like a great hang out place. I can definitely see myself coming back here with my fiance and his family. I personally don't like to drink too often but I can still see myself coming here with friends and family who do without feeling left out in a way. I think it's a great place for all!

I did try some sort of lemon lime beer I think. My fiance got it. I tend to dislike beer greatly but this one wasn't too bad.
